POV camera most definitely for most influence! Without videos, there wouldn't be as much inspiration for others, and POV cameras made it easy. It expanded people's worlds, beyond their local trail system and little riding groups. I probably wouldn't have looked for new trails containing certain features if I hadn't seen them ridden in videos, nor would I have flew, floated, and flowed (and fumbled) on them so fast and smoothly, if I didn't see how others push their limits.

Words and a few pics alone can't match the story a few video clips can tell. With POV cams, you can shoot vid and ride at the same time, not just one or the other. Hell, pinkbike wouldn't be such a hotspot for AM/FR/DH type guys without people's hunger for better vid clips.
