Kat Sweet is at it again and holding the 5th annual Sugar Showdown at Duthie Hill MTB Park in Issaquah, Washington. This is a ride event for women and girls of all ages like none other. New for 2016 is a new course, better judging, more classes, and a new clinic format for smaller groups. This is a two-day event with Saturday devoted to coaching and classes, Sunday being the competition. There will be several different categories arranged by age and skill level. Skill levels range from beginners to pros. So come out and enjoy two days of riding, classes, and competition with the best women's mountain bike coaches around.

@crazyquin, granted your like 12 so you don't know any better. I have to ask though, what are you doing to benefit the mtb community? I wish I had the means right now to send my wife to this event. It would be a total game changer for her. Good foryou Sweetlines! There are a ton of women who need things like this. I don't see the down side to a non intimidating environment for women whom might not normally even be at your "locals", to progress.

The whole event is centered around coaching women to ride jump lines. Guys are welcome to come out and ride/jump with the girls, they just can't enter in the competition.
