Press Release: DVO Winter Series

Beginning on January 17 Boulder City Nevada's Bootleg Canyon Mountain Bike Park and DVO Suspension will play host for the 5th consecutive year for the 2020 DVO Winter Gravity Series and will be serving up gnarly portions of Downhill, Enduro and Dual Slalom. Many other sponsors have upped their ante with additional support. As you continue to read this news article you will see how GT Bicycles and ODI Grips have paired up to make history and grow the sport. When the cash purse, raffle items, and prizes are added up the grand total tops $35,000.00!

01) GT/ODI coaching program will provide coaches for the finals in March and pit space for all junior athletes for the entire series.
02) Mob n Mojave Enduro in February will be an EWS N. American Continental series event and the 1st on the North American calendar.

EWS Comes to Bootleg Canyon

On Saturday, February 15 the EWS makes its debut in Southern Nevada with the very 1st EWS N. American Continental Enduro series race for the 2020 EWS season. Other N. American Continental series races that follow will be held in Canada, Mexico and elsewhere in the states. Race organizers are taking full advantage of the Southern Nevada winter weather to be first. All Enduro races include Friday shuttles for copious amounts of open practice and your race on Saturday. For an Enduro event of such importance, a 4th stage will be added for the Pro, Open and Category 1 racers. This is an elite race but will be open to all amateurs and pros alike. For exact details on categories, how to get your Continental points and cash awards, please click HERE.

GT Bicycles and ODI Grips Free Junior Coaching Program

GT Bicycles and ODI grips have been working together to create a program that is unique, needed and will grow these gravity disciplines in the most fun and safest fashion. All you need to qualify is to be a junior racer. All junior racers that come to the DVO Reaper Madness in March will get private coaching. This offer also includes pit space next to the pros at no additional charge for the entire series. We hope this helps, becomes huge and a progressive new program that others will follow. A sign-up for this coaching program has been created on registration for the March event.

From the creators "Clinic developed for young competitive cyclists (novice and/or intermediate level) who may have competed in their high school league or introductory type events are looking to expand their skill sets and explore the world of gravity racing under the guidance of experienced racers Rachel Strait, Tyler McCaul, Joey Foresta and other GT athletes. 3:00 - 6:00 pm on Saturday and free for all Enduro participants. Participants will be required to have their own helmet, bike and pertinent equipment for riding and be prepared for whatever weather conditions are present during time of the clinic".

EWS N, America. not EWS. I would be pretty surprised if all the top pros showed up, but that said, Gwinn and a couple others usually show up as it's decent early season tune up for them.
