Id buy that guy a beer, he's winning.
  • 113 1
i felt like the cameraman intentionally zoomed in on the headtube junction to look for cracks.
  • 37 0
2nd place goes to the BigHit lol.
  • 21 0
@mtbikeaddict: I used to rock that bike...not sure you could actually steal it unless it was on the top of a hill.
  • 5 0
@jrocksdh: X2 - two wheel love comes in all shapes and sizes.
  • 29 7
Alright, i'll say it 26 FOR LIFE!
  • 6 3
 @Fribour: HELL YES
  • 8 0
God bless the old warriors. Still ripping it!
  • 4 3
@Fribour: fook yeah!...and 24 on the back baby. Smashin berms harder than I smash...
  • 2 0
my sons rocking a 2004 stinky for morzine this year, hes 13 and only 9 stone so fingers crossed it'll hold together lol
  • 61 0
the switch from the full carbon kid bike to the beat up stinky was awesome. Ex stinky owner here, that bike breathes freeride.
  • 13 0
Lol yes. Spent Sat at the local bike park. Saw a couple Yetis, S-Works, Intense, kids on insanely expensive bikes... And my buddy on his Stinky Dee-luxe. That was awesome.
  • 4 0
Still a Stinky owner here and she freerides like you wouldn't believe. 11 years and still going strong! \m/,
  • 55 0
Mega props for the beat up Stinky and it's stoked owner!
  • 36 1
I'd be interested in hearing what they do for a living.
  • 6 4
Yeah that girl with the full custom trek session?
  • 2 0
@RedBurn: Ya that's around a $10k CAD build for the 9.9 with Fox maybe a bit more. Sick bike.
  • 7 0
 Stay in school kids.
  • 17 0
 I sell meth
  • 3 2
I could never dump $10k straight onto a bike....... *realises he's spent more on buying parts to build a DH bike about seven years ago, and now owns a custom painted Yeti SB6c with Cane Creek suspension*

I'm an idiot.
  • 3 1
That guy with the Transition Sentinel is working in the suspension division of SRAM Smile
  • 2 0
I'd be more interested in see what kind of car they drive. I imagine a lot of Geos and Pintos
  • 25 0
Just goes to show that bikes don't stop being fun just 'cause they aren't the latest model! And yes I'd have a go on that Scooter thing... but I'd wear a paper bag over my hemet!
  • 1 0
Seems like fun. Wouldn't ride it without some proper shin protection and maybe also something to cover that shock. Wouldn't like to step on it.
  • 12 0
The average recreational park rider would have just as much fun on an aluminum 26er as they would on the latest 27.5 or 29 carbon beast.
  • 3 0
But technically it was 24 bike checks and 1 scooter...
  • 2 0
I think most people realize this as they step off a chairlift, then instantly forget in the parkinglot.
  • 21 0
Was that Dennis on the Fury? Dood had the most vertical and runs at Whistler the past 2 years I think. He has to average like 12 or more runs every day to get over 1 million feet of vert.
  • 17 0
It was 1.6 million feet in a season - pretty crazy.
  • 2 0
 Dennis is a beast!
  • 11 0
 The bike maintenance. oof
  • 21 1
that's 488km in normal people units
  • 17 0
were can i get the shred till ya dead stickers?
  • 2 0
YES. This needs to be higher. I WANT those... Drool
  • 5 0
DYEDBRO.com has sticker packs with them in it
  • 2 0
@DHryder: Thx man. Looks like a different size, but I will use the contact option and ask.
  • 1 0
It was cut out of the Camo Frame protector pack... cuz that frame has no paint to justify the protector but Iago / DYED is rad.
  • 14 0
Who leaves their bike unattended in a public place long enough for someone else to do a bike check on it then put it back before they return?
  • 48 0
 everyone in whistler
  • 16 0
 everyone in Canada
  • 4 0
Probably a set up bike to catch thieves.
  • 60 0
 Anyone with a Big Hit.
  • 17 0
@spankthewan: "I literally can't give this thing away"

  • 13 1
Holy crap that was a lot of 29ers...
  • 10 0
So who will be the first to admit riding that scooter thing....other than the owner in the video?
  • 51 1
Yeah Ill ghost ride that thing into a volcano. You know, where it belongs.
  • 4 0
@chillrider199: hey, Hawaii has one erupting and ready to go. Sure to be a hit on YouTube. Big Grin
  • 9 0
That scooter thing looks like the summer version of the monoski.
  • 23 0
would i own one? no. would i try one? hell yes.
  • 5 0
@adrennan: Ditto that. First thought: What the freak IS that monstrosity? Second thought: That's actually sort of cool. That looks like it would be a lot of fun to try (key word there, try not buy)
  • 4 2
@adrennan: looks like it would be immense fun. Low COG, no drivetrain getting in the way of the suspension working, complete freedom of movement on the bike.
  • 3 5
Aaaand closed minded comments coming in 321..... Follow the herd sheeple, follow the heard.
  • 1 1
 Not worth getting hurt on.
  • 3 0
@jrocksdh: wait till you see the clippless version.
  • 11 0
That guy with the Kona is an absolute legend, big ups to him!
  • 7 0
Is that 2005 Stinky outdated ?Will the rider be able to go dooooowwwwnnnn the trails ?
Will the rider keep that smile in the end of the day, week ....?
No for the 1st and yes to the rest i´m sure
  • 6 0
Awesome to see some pros and legends with regl'r folk!

Not one, but two Tioga saddles!

Scooter bike- no grip tape or pedal studs; edge of the stands/platforms should be rounded and padded. I could see some shins cut in half with that platform.

Guy with the 90 degree HA Salsa has been riding the park for 18 years, so he must have some serious skills.

Now let me conquer some 4' drops first and dream of Whistler...
  • 4 1
Is it just me or do 26" bikes just look rediculous after seeing a bunch of modern bikes?? I used to ride a 26" for years as did anyone not new to the sport but anyone with a brain simply cannot argue the simple principal that a larger wheel rolls better/faster/smoother over obstacles. Just ask the 4WD guys if they would prefer 29" wheel or 35"s...
  • 9 1
26" bikes are also often more nimble and easier to move...
This is why many pilots were still using this wheel format at the last RB rampage. And I think a 26in bike is still a better option in a park than a 29"...But that's just my opinion.
  • 3 0
@jurassicrider: im actually surprised that people downvoted you, you are correct. Maybe some people can't handle the truth
  • 16 9
 I hate videos.
  • 5 0
That Spesh is classic! Those Hayes look like Mag G1. Is that a bash ring or a circular saw blade?
  • 5 0
I'm sure Tippie says two OR three brake rotors.... Guy must shred hard if he needs three rotors on his bike Razz !
  • 1 0
Tippie - you forgot about DVO?
  • 1 0

  • 4 0
what on earth is that saddle, tippie?!
  • 13 0
Its a saddle that is large enough to cradle his massive balls comfortably.
  • 2 0
@chillrider199: doesn't look very sponsor correct? ergon needs a little dj saddle that is ergonomic for pinchin with the knees to throw the b's
  • 6 1

  • 3 0
Love those kind of videos, more news about the whistler opening please
  • 3 1
Brakes - Hayes Purples. They were lust worthy at the time, proper shite brakes by today's standards.
  • 2 0
Actualy they can hold their own with plenty of modern brakes. I had a set on a old Intense Uzzi SLX until recently, and they worked perfect everytime, with plenty of power.
  • 2 0
If you are referring to the bright red Big Hit, those were obviously not Purple Hayes, which had dark purple leverhousing and calipers. The brakes on the bike are regular Hayes HFX Mag, which were very good brakes at the time. But as you write, there are a lot of better alternatives today.
  • 5 3
Stop with using "banger" to describe mountain biking already. Jesus. I hate this word more than loam OR zone!
  • 22 0
sometimes you can only get bangers in the loam zone...
  • 1 0
Loam is a technical term describing soil particle size distribution
  • 4 0

I fucking HATE scooters, suspension or not, kill it with fire now please!! Stinky was sick af
  • 2 1
You could probably buy a house if you sold half of these bikes...
  • 7 0
Priorities. You could buy a house if you sold a few cars in the parking lot. Some people put value in different things than others
  • 3 0
 @sewer-rat Not in Whistler!
  • 1 0
Makes me wish I still had my Yakuza.
