 Missile!

You kinda forget KHS exists until the US Open rolls around eh?
  • 25 1
Larger West Coast presence so you're seeing their market coverage. With the riders they've helped bring up and the quality of their program, there is no passing over KHS for what they bring to US DH and enduro racing. Wishing the team well this weekend.

@spaceofades their catalog bikes are rocking some really old conservative geo. 428mm reach on a size large?! Unrideable.
  • 1 0
 ... Or Southridge series!
  • 5 0
I swear I only see them through race coverage on vital and pb. Seen maybe one in the wild.

More of Bruni his raw Demo ????????????
  • 1 0
I think it is his second bike, used for telemetry. It was in one of the PB articles of the earlier races, you could see it in the background in the pits
  • 1 0
 @kusanagi72: Development frame most likely
  • 3 0
Yes i know the frame with the Data system. The raw look without the system is really cool and good to see the Demo in this Look
  • 10 1
Interesting to see Assegais on several of the bikes but not Minaar's.
  • 9 1
It's tacky to run your signature components.
  • 6 6
@spaceofades: Really? I did not know that. I figure if you designed it (or helped design it), then it must really match your preferences and you'd want to use it.
  • 5 0
Probably comes down to track condition, just because he helped design it doesn't mean it's the perfect tire for him all the time. DHR II rolls faster than the Assegai so it's probably that.
  • 3 2
@spaceofades: this is racing, not high school.
  • 4 0
@ricechrispy: I think he was joking.

 Holly mackerel its Missy!

I appreciate that Tahnee wears a chest protector. I wish I had worn one more often.

With her cannons, yeah, it’s a good idea haha!
  • 2 1
That's the new chest protector fox has been pushing a lot lately. Most of the fox guys were using it recently. I think she usually rides with one of those base layer with a soft back protector( d3o and such). She posted about it quite some time ago on IG if i"m not mistaken.
  • 1 0
 @ORTOGONAL555:

You got a link or name for that thing?
Looks rather slim, might be a good minimalist option.
  • 1 0
@Loki87: I think it's it's the new fox raceframe. There is a ce certified version of it with a d30 back plate and a standard version (no certified back protector). If you are interested in fox stuff look for the titan race subframe too ( it's what everyone was wearing before the raceframe came out.). Astars sequence chest protector is similar too, maybe has a bit longer back protector.

Smoking a joint and riding with Missy would be akin to smoking a bowl and rolling with one of the Diaz brothers........awesome
  • 6 3
I automatically respect anyone that is into both mountain biking and MMA lol
  • 5 0
I've done the former of the two, and I would call the experience a "life event."
  • 5 1
Wow some real hitters came out for this!!! USA is back on the map with EWS and DH
  • 4 0
Big names in Big Bear! Awesome! What happened to Kamikaze??
  • 2 0
Kami Bike Games is on hiatus. The race director took s new job off the mountain
  • 4 0
The Missile....bring some heat girl! Great seeing you represent again!
  • 4 0
So cool all these big names are racing in Big Bear this weekend.
  • 3 1
Why do the manufacturers make such short riding pants? I can understand that for MX pants as they're usually tucked into boots.
  • 2 0
is it worth moving somewhere just so its worth owning a v10?
  • 2 0
 in my experience, yes
  • 2 0
Good to see some outside big names attend
  • 2 0
Serious question, but... Are Dakotah Norton's tires on backwards?
  • 2 0
It's for better traction on the climbs.
  • 1 0
The angle on Kovarik’s bike looks like he’s running a mullet bike... but in reverse!
  • 1 0
Why is nothing being posted about results. Enduro stages.. Dual slalom... qualis
  • 2 0
I love the plaid finish on Neko's ride.
  • 1 0
It's hard to find a dh bike sexier than a commencal right now. beautiful rigs.
  • 3 1
Is it wrong that I find that photo of Tahnee Seagrave somewhat arousing?!
  • 1 0
It depends how old you are...
  • 1 0
@enduroNZ: dear god age shouldn't even enter into it. It was a rhetorical question after all.
  • 2 0
Do you get a free khs with your entry fee?
  • 1 0
Those Evil Wreckonings would be a blast there! Ultimate park rat bike tup
  • 1 0

  • 1 1
 Vaea Verbeeck, shaboiinggg
  • 1 0
 Steven ftw!
  • 5 8
Big Bear...what a horrible venue. Big Bear is cool as a town but the bike park sits at the bottom of the list of BIke Parks in the US.
  • 4 2
Exactly, I talked to some pros on the lift today. And they agree. The park isn’t big enough to host this event. 1 black jump, 1 black tech, 1 green, 1 blue, 1 blue jump, and 1 double black tech. Which compared to mammoth trails, isn’t really double black. I say if mammoth hosted it as a replacement for kamikaze games it would be better.

But I do understand, this brings in revenue for the town to hopefully grow it more.
  • 1 0
Hopefully this exposure increases trail numbers, but final say goes to usfs.
  • 3 0
Big Bear is awesome! Super fun. Small though, no doubt.
  • 2 0
@Happypanda1337: I never understood why Big Bear with 10 million people in a 70 mile radius and no other mountain with lift access within 5 hours is not crowded all the time. Lifts are slow and on weekdays no body is riding. Maybe I should keep my mouth shut. I really like riding Summit empty.
  • 1 0
@Phoncus: dude weekday riding there is awesome. The next lift access park is snow valley. Snow valley needs a lot of work, but its promising. I try to visit at least once a year to SV. The original Trail builder for skypark is building snow valley.

Personally i think that entire mountain range needs to take a visit to whistler or even just mammoth, because their definition of a double black trail is a single black for mammoth.

I'm pretty you've sat on chair 1, and were like, "why don't they build a trail right next to miracle mile underneath chair 1." Or may be bring back pro line. Like there is plenty of land, in which you don't need to cut down 500 trees.
