The 2020 edition of the Audi Nines is well underway with riders already sending huge tricks on the massive jumps but it's always great seeing the world's best throw down some classic whips. We have put together 30 of the best whips from this years Audi Nines so far, which is your favourite?
Why, does pink bike do videos of bike parts and pictures of whips? These have to be two of most backwards things done. Is it cause this is what the "across the pond beaver" is doing? Is it part of your other dumb "Down Country" verbiage? These are all things the bike industry certainly doesn't need.
We didn’t sit around a boardroom and go “don’t give them video of whips, they don’t deserve it.” The Audi Nines crew is working on some banger videos, don’t worry.
Honest question... Almost all of these riders are riding right foot forward and whipping tail right. Is there any benefit to riding right foot forward? Sure there are a few people riding left foot forward, but these pictures and various others tell me that there might be something to it.
I think the majority of people are right-handed. Most right-handed people's dominant foot is their right as well. Most people ride with their dominant foot forward. Most prefer to whip the bike out by "pushing" their back foot out. For me personally i find it harder to "pull" with the back foot - it's easier to push it into the frame.
Patrick Schweika is missing in the options, his torso is almost parallel to the ground and inline with the bike, which takes more commitment than just tilting the bike.
Just a theory
