Natural selection is what brought us to where we are. They greatest species in the galaxy and probably observable universe. It is very, very good.

BTW, I love Kiwinglish. Someone says "and everything else is the same" and you hear and everthing arses the same", piddles, e-fus aye bas, steam... I could understand more English from a Canadian with permanently enhanced cocaine receptors and two French guys - fkng awesome!!! Big Grin

@Brdjanin: just here to say something to push the comfort zone... I got lots of luck in last few days. But I do strongly believe that natural selection is good. We shouldn't help it, but still...

18 here, been running my bike like that for like 3 years. I get some weird concerns for sure. But when I ride with the people they dont worry any more haha.

look ma! my new 6500$ trampoline. Seriously , if it works for him that's all that matters
  • + 3
Wait was the pro running zero rebound or full rebound? I run like zero. Close to at least

@WAKIdesigns: natural selection? i just go with "for whatever a man sows, this and this only is what he will reap."

@robdpzero: oh yes, the problem is some never get to see the scythe, some die by cutting themselves on one, or some get killed by those who want to get one from their hands... "you reap what you sow" goes well with other sayings from the good old days. Like "run n*gger run". Upper class bullshyte. Natural selection on a warm, pale blue dot flying through vastness of space. Life is what molecules do when given enough time in favorable conditions my friend.

@chillrider199: He said he was also running very little spring. Didn't say anything about ramp up or compression, but I imagine since his spring and rebound are light, he would need both to compensate. Makes sense to me. Not exactly the feel I'd want on my bike, but he's racing and I'm not.

 old news to me......
  • + 1
@chillrider199: fox it seems to like no dampening. I run my fork almost wide open.
  • + 1
I had the STX22 and also rode it wide open as well. It is way overdamped from the factory.
  • + 1
before I got an actual bike I had a full suspension gravity fsx 1.0 straight out of china that had no suspension dampers whatsoever and I survived a few days in the bike park on it
  • + 1
@DHaddict82: Well who doesn't like a dry fork?
  • + 1
@salespunk: You mean compression or rebound? I always had to run both ttx and stx on the slowest rebound or one click open.
  • + 1
 @Samuli-1: rebound was wide open

Can you imagine what it would be like if CG and Tippie commentated the DH racing...
  • + 22
CG and Warner that is all!
  • + 14
Hey uh Pinkbike can you try to make this happen please? Thanks
  • + 56
Props to Bryan Regnier for making it through that interview. Learning a new language (especially English) is hard and he pulled through like a champ.
  • - 3
I wouldn't say English is tough to learn, as a native Russian speaker English wasn't difficult to learn, although it could be that i was teenager when i was learning it versus an adult trying to learn english
  • + 36
Yeah but I can't forgive him for giving Sansa to Ramsey Bolton
  • - 3
@dancingwhale, not sure if you are serious or sarcastic, because English is the easiest language to learn.
  • + 15
@mentalhead: Hahaha, the neg props! Gringos don't like to hear that.
  • + 1
@passwordpinkbike: No me llame gringo, prefiero canche
  • + 5
@passwordpinkbike: it's true. Try to learn German, people say it's way harder.
  • + 1
@Muckal: is that because no one hears German outside of Germany? I can't remember the last time I watched a German film (actually I can; it was Manta Manta) so perhaps I am less likely to get exposed to your language on a daily basis.
  • + 2
@ermoldaker: It's an official language in two more countries in Europe Big Grin

No foreign language is easy to learn - the effort needed the learn the vocabulary is pretty much the same. From there on some languages have much more specifics compared to others (German VS English for example).

Actually I enjoy hearing much more different English accents (Scottish my favorite) compared to the German ones Smile

I feel a little sorry for Keegan & Sam Shaw, 2 guys who had a good shot to really get their names out there in a big way on trails they have dominated at enduros for a few years on. But both of them got thrown on totally different bikes a week before the race. Sure getting a better sponsorship deal is good, but I feel the timing could have really hampered their chance to shine unfortunately. (Keegan was on a Trance and Sam a 5010 for the last year or 2)
