The Fort William course pushes both riders and their bikes to the limit with plenty of rocks and some big hits. While riders took their practice laps we hung out at the end of the motorway section to capture some heavy landings.
I dunno the coverage kinda hit rock bottom recently multiple times, and in many cases i can't see it rebounding. Could be they reached full extension with the whole outside thing, but a certain drop happened - and I know new stories land all the time but they are just kind of flat. Could be compressing too many words into a small space, or that some of the best writers were locked-out from sharing their content, but certainly the kind of suspense we all felt when a new WC was on its way is now kind of creaking from the amount of steer given by the editor.
@morestagedives: DAMN that’s savage af. I honestly appreciated getting physical Beta mags and am sad they’re gone. The printing and photography were pretty beautiful. It’s been a rough run for the Bike Mag > Beta crew. Hopefully they can all land on their feet.
Can someone explain to me why some teams keep using white pants? They always end up with those awkward tire marks on them and in conditions like this, they are bound to just look like a muddy mess.
My 10yro did that a couple of weeks ago on a bigger bigger gap line. He threw a mini Superman, then only got one foot back on the pedals. Landed funny but pushed the bike out well enough. Pedal went down and drug on the dirt, but as he trucked back…his nuts got buzzed pretty hard by a fresh DHR2.
Dunno why you got downvoted, many of them ARE running their suspension springs softer but with more compression damping for the longer rough track to try avoid fatigue.
Wow. This website is such garbage. All you do is copy VitalMTB!
They created RAW. You copy it.
They created the G-Out Project. You copy it.
Garbage. I hope Outside shuts this site down as a loss leader when it doesn't hit the profit margin they require in corporate

If Vital had a better buy/sell, pretty obvious PB would just rip that format off too.
