Thanks to this new edit -  “35mm” - we get an insight into Alex Rudeau through the eyes of his loved ones. See the passion, the motivation and the sacrifices that pushed Alex to the highest step of the podium at the 2022 Enduro World Series in Loudenvielle, France.

From his Trials World Championship titles, his training spots at home in Ardèche, and his coaching, videographer Gaétan Clary offers an intimate portrait of the Comnmecal Enduro Project rider.

 Trials and EWS!what a talent, I don't imagine either discipline really compliments the other

 Trials is all about bike control, and on wet stages like those at the last round of the EWS last year you need a lot of it!

As someone who's made the same switch - but hasn't managed to find that much speed - I find the trials skills transfer across, but also help quite a lot in terms of finding and feeling where grip is (which is also key for trials), and just knowing where your bike is, what it's doing and how to manipulate it. Being able to do those trials skills that Alex showed in the video also helps you ride trails/stages in a more pro-active rather than re-active way which no doubt helps too.
