by Freehub Magazine
For week two the "44 Days and Rolling" crew works its way across the "Golden" state with bikes all day long; some NASCAR "turn left" moments; tons of footage and photos; and wicked sunburns to accompany it all. Kickin' the week off with the craziness of the Sea Otter Classic, then onto Tehachapi, CA for few days at Woodward West with Mike Montgomery and Sam Dueck and ending with the long drive headin' east into the desert lands.

Check out this week's GoPro Friday's week #2 video recap Featuring Sam Dueck and Mike Montgomery presented by Freehub Mag:

Ryan's Bangers: Week #2 Photo Dump

We kick off our second week in beautiful sunny Monterey, California for the Sea Otter Classic. Sea Otter is a super rad event that kicks off the season with tons of manufacturers displaying new product and pros from all over competing in some great events. Us Washington boys quickly learned sunscreen is key in California. Fightin' the sun with sunscreen and cold bevies the crew made it out for four full days of coverage and captured some great moments.

Freehub loves Women's XC and the ladies were killin' it out there.

Aside from the Women's XC we did catch the other events and good times at Sea Otter.

The Sea Otter Slalom course is a classic:

After picking up Norco Factory Rider Sam Dueck we hit the road heading towards Woodward West. Here we plan to meet up with Mike Montgomery to do some riding and by that I mean watching these guys throw down. With early morning sessions turning into late night sessions we got our share of riding in. This place is what we dreamed about when we were kids and most of us still do. Woodward's compound is the perfect environment for progression; Mike and Sam showed us where that progression can potentially lead to.

After a little love and water, the dirt jumps were runnin' prime:

Ever hear of a MegaRamp? We had the unique opportunity to capture the first mountain bikers to ever hit the Danny Way MegaRamp. Sam and Mike didn't waste this opportunity to go big and leave their mark on the MegaRamp. Some huge tricks were thrown, some history was made and we captured it all.

Now we have to do some teasing:
