Video: 4X ProTour Round 1 Winterberg, Germany - Qualifiying

Qualifying has just taken place here at 4X ProTour round 1 in Winterberg Germany. With crowds lining the track from start to finish and the sun shining, the World's best 4X riders started one at a time against the clock to see who would be the fastest ahead of racing on Sunday.

In the women's it was Julia Lackas taking the fastest time to the delight of her home German crowd. 2014 4X ProTour Champion Helene Fruhwith was 2nd and Jessica Schmulbach in 3rd.

In the men's it was Austrian Hannes Slavik with the fastest time on what looked like a near perfect run, ahead of Quentin Derbier and Scott Beaumont. 64 men have qualified and without a doubt racing will be close.

The forecast for Sunday is more sunshine and with the crowds flocking to Winterberg this weekend for Dirtmasters festival the scene is set for an awesome race tomorrow.
