bigquotesThe ultimate adventure never ends, it is a continuous journey to new destinations. Our rides always finish by planning the next mountain to shred down, the next trattoria to visit, the secret trails that exist somewhere up there, we just need to find out where. Weekdays are only a gap to catch up on sleep, repair the body and the bike, and get set for that Saturday morning when the tires hit the dirt! - PB user Cheezario

bigquotesI am not the ultimate adventurer. I like to think my adventures are humble, modest and fueled by a desire for new experiences and a love of all things wild. The video shows a trip from 2016 when I joined some sail/ski friends in northern Norway and brought along my bike. The result: bikes, beers and broken gears - what more can you ask for? Sadly, my capabilities on my most recent Norwegian adventure (a study exchange to Tromsø) came to a grinding halt after a ski crash left me with a dislocated knee and a ruptured MCL. As the midnight sun returns to northern Norway and my study exchange comes to an end, what better a way to finish it off with dreams of another (less painful) adventure on the horizon! - PB user Samanual

bigquotesI am a guy who likes adventure in any form but most of all on my bike. I ride every day to get better at what I love and when I finally got to the mountains in Austria I also fell in love with them. Climbing mountains without even knowing if you could ride them down again was awesome. My lust for adventure gets bigger every day. But this lust comes at a price. A price that I can not afford, but I continue to dream anyway. Although one minute is a very short time to showcase my skills and adventures, I hope you can get the gist of it. - PB user Georgech

bigquotesLike most siblings my brother and I weren't the best of mates when we were younger. Our mutual love for adventure brought us together. Whether it is a weekend biking expedition, mountain marathon or a weekday bivvy trip, our love for adventure has taken us to some of the wildest places in the UK and made memories for life! However, this is just the beginning and we continue to adventure into our older years! A trip like this to Norway would be incredible, with neither of us having done anything quite this epic! Cheers! - PB user Alexweeman

bigquotesI don't think I'm the Ultimate Adventurer, I believe we all are. Regardless of money and time, how big or small your world, bike or no bike. We all have the ultimate adventurer in ourselves. You've just got to open your eyes and see. For context the first photo is of me, my sister and my grandfather. My grandfather, a WW2 veteran said to me once, "the only reason you throw yourselves down mountains and get a kick from endangering yourself, is the lack of real war and conflict in your life". As cynical a view as that was, it's probably right and for that, I will always be eternally grateful that it's the world I'm living in at the moment. The 2nd photo is the first real adventure I ever had. A family holiday to a tiny Scottish island, where I was allowed to leave for 2 days on my bike into the Knoydart region... and as you can see my dad let me attempt to bunny hop over him... I failed and rode right over his stomach!!! He said to me afterwards: "limits are only doors, to which fear locks them... only you have the key Michael." I'd like to thank Bikester for providing me with the reason to make this slideshow, regardless of winning or not it's humbled me a little, in realising the opportunities I have for friendship and adventure. Thank you. - PB user Forkbrayker

 1. Dude watches race with hundreds of others, hardly a unique experience, no adventure. 2. Generic messing about. No story. But fun. 3, Nice adventure showing 'a journey', but not much biking. 4. The best thus far, has a human story attached, the who and the why... some varied footage as well 5. Nice idea for a theme, but lacking any personalty. no video, just photos. 4, followed by 3 for the win

I'd say "Generic messing about. No story. But fun" is a pretty good definition of an adventure in my books. I'd suggest you prescribe yourself with it... Wink

@samanual: haha, fair enough, in which case I have awesome adventures every time I take my dog for a ride, ride my bike solo, with friends, cook a new recipe for tea, go to the pub with my mrs etc etc etc. That's life, or should be. Who knows what the day might bring. This is a competition, these videos are in competition with each other, I'm merely commenting as per the suggestions of the author

@Small-Tales-Epic-Trails: Haha wow, small world. It's my parents gaff but it's not so near Bayswell. I currently live in Copenhagen, a far cry from the rugged north sea coast and my dog Frown
