They say when you're in the blue zone, you can feel too lazy to find your flow. Things are dazy and you just end up feeling slow. Then there's the red zone, where things are hypey but slightly over buzzed. Everything seems so lively but your mind feels rather fuzzed.

edit

Now there's the green zone, where the world is calm and free, all is fun and love and that's all it could ever be...

edit

Josh Lewis and Max Nerurkar of Clay Spades channeling the green zone. Thanks to all the brothers who ripped in Morzine, what an experience... this one is for you.

 That, that is how you make a video!

 Most videos leave me saying "Huh, that was cool", but the 50to01 videos make me want to get on my bike and go have some fun.

Keep em coming, they're awesome inspiration.

 Wow I made it into their video! See that guy with the backpack, pumping those little bumps?

 Super fun session video. Really enjoy watching the crash & giggles. Makes me wish my ol' body could still handle the yuck yuck crashes.

 Why break things?
  • 11 5
 Exactly.
  • 24 4
 Wait, what broke?
  • 10 2
 I didn't see anything get broken.
  • 7 5
 @ssteve: Railing...
  • 20 12
 Lack of respect for their surroundings and the kids think it's cool. Unfortunately though monkey see, monkey do. Coming soon to a trail near you!
  • 7 2
 @zion-i: computer screen probably
  • 8 6
 @km79: Agreed, now dumb f*ck kids are going to come along and try similar even though they dont have the skills to back it up
  • 51 2
 Because were British....We brake things... Railings....The occasional sign... the European union... :p
  • 29 2
 Bikeparks get destroyed much more from Joeys and others who lock they rear brake from top to bottom.
  • 5 1
 @Zen-Potatoes: I think we might have accidentally on purpose broken our ties the EU... braking is a different thing old chap... it's what you do when you want to slow down, but who wants to slow down when you could destroy civilization as we invented it wahaha!! ;-)

 @Skautik: this!!!
  • 29 3
 @mongoss nothing broke dude, maybe my helmet!! (the barrier just came loose) @km79 @poozank I couldnt respect my surroundings more guys ... i want to inspire kids to respect their surroundings... AND start footplanting them... even better!!

 @Zen-Potatoes:

 @LadLife: I'm not hating on the video I thought it was rad. That being said cutting berms and trail to make creative gaps is cool and you have the skill to pull it off without damaging the areas in between. The problem is kids watch this then think they can go out and make 'sick gaps' but in reality they are just cutting corners and ruining trail.

 @Skautik: I agree, this encourages them to cut corners for sick gaps that they can't pull off ruining trails further
  • 1 1
 @poozank: if youve ever rode that track down to linderets you will know how pedally it is, everyone who rides down it cuts corners it isnt a new thing.
  • 8 3
 @km79: easy grandpa - the kids will be off your lawn soon
  • 18 1
 Jesus you f**king nerds, are the pro mountain bikers not living their life the way you want them to? Go ride
  • 6 0
 More videos like this! Help kids get creative, hit the same corner or section 10 times trying new stuff instead of following the trail a few times the same way like every week then going home.
  • 4 3
 @km79: @poozank Think you guys are getting a bit too old haha. Just appreciate the riding for what it is, sick.

 @LadLife: The barrier never 'just came loose', you twatted it several times with your bike.
  • 4 2
 @poozank thanks man im glad you like the vid... but the "problem" deffo isnt kids trying things on their bikes - its people spending too much time on their keyboards... Cheer up @km79 ... The day i break an alpine log barrier with my leg is the day i make a video exploding water melons with round house kicks Smile

 How do you end up caring more about the slightly altered fence post, than you do about the guy who just landed on his head trying to get shit done. You need to wake up and smell the coffee bro, go have some fun and maybe care a little more about your fellow human beings and a little less about looking like a responsible boring motherfucker.

 @km79: too punk to give a fk
  • 2 0
 @km79 @poozank If no kids ever broke the rules and tried to cut corners we would all still ride cyclocross...

 New best video series. So fun. Really bringing it back to what it got us all into it.

 That is how to Ride! Playful & Pinned
  • 6 0
 This is literally the best kind of riding, shredding the shit out of nothing and making the trail your own. Party on!
  • 7 1
 I'm so pumped to go there this summer!!!

 If you find some time make sure you go to Morgins and Champery too! Absolutly worth a trip (takes only 30-40min drive by car).
  • 6 0
 @IceCream7: just take the lifts there from Morzine. save fuel and big day on the bike
  • 2 3
 @Konda: I always find morgins a bit too far via chairlifts from morzine, well worth a full days visit in the car though but have to drive the long way round and cross swiss border etc
  • 1 0
 @rpinney206 yeah and me and my son are going aswell, 6 weeks feels like a long time to wait though
  • 1 0
 @Konda: If you get there by lifts it takes too long to enjoy everything but I agree with your point ????????
  • 2 0
 Without '??????' Haha
  • 1 0
 @Konda: agreed, it's an epic trip over there from Morzine/Les Gets on the bike.
  • 1 0
 @IceCream7: I agree it takes a little while, but last time I did it, I still managed 12 runs at morgins and made it back to morzine on the lifts. Massive day out though, kinda ruined for me the following day with arm pump.
Each to their own though, I love the fact you can get so far using just the lifts and gravity, it's one of the best things about the whole place Big Grin

 @IceCream7: how difficult is it with a dh bike to get between the areas? I'm gonna stay in Chatel but I can take the train from Geneva to Champrey. I'm going on the last weekend and going to do Champrey on that Monday after Chatel closes, the only thing is I don't have anywhere to stash my bags while I ride. I would definitely prefer not to rent a car and avoid the expense. Would it be cheaper to rent a car in France as opposed to Geneva?
