Tracey, that gesture has been out of fashion for ages.
  • + 30
 sadly its becoming increasingly popular.

please tell me it's a dab and not what I think it looks like

@drangus: I'm sure she's proudly (and publicly) displaying a Nazi salute smh
  • + 0
The more I look at Xquareone, the more... nope, it is still ugly. Not as ugly as the salute though.
  • + 2
@jdeuce: her bike looks like it's in a squish photo.
  • + 115
Doubt 100% that is what she intended. Put your antifa/sjw weiners away before you cause more grief than is worth.
  • + 1
Kamen Rider never goes out of style.
  • + 4
As if it is what you say it is!

Your the sad one, It’s amazing what you pricks will do for a rep.
  • + 264
Wow no way i was just trying to be super girl, did not work out, didnt mean to offend anyone sorry guys x
  • + 115
@drangus: it wasn't even on my mind sorry for the offence. Excuse my pose.
  • + 120
@LittleTrace13: No need to apologize Tracy. Rational people get that you were just goofing around and that you aren't actually doing a Nazi Salute. Don't let it get to you.
  • + 4
@drangus: not sure a dab would be any better TBH...
  • + 47
@LittleTrace13: Don't worry about it, Tracey. Pretty sure nobody with even half a brain thought that's what you were doing!

Some people clearly read WAY too much into absolutely everything
  • + 63
To all the dimwits seeing this as a Nazi gesture:
The "Hitlergruß" is done with the right hand/arm!

Before hitting someone with the Nazi hammer, make sure you got your facts straight.
Otherwise keep that ideological bs outta here. Any sane person would realize she´s not displaying a nazi gesture in broad daylight.
Whatever she was trying to do, it is not that.

Tracey, don´t let it get to you. You did nothing wrong.
I guess in this day and age the reactions we´re witnessing here sadly have become a conditioned response in most people and using ones brain has gone out of fashion.
  • + 13
@LittleTrace13: Don't be sorry. Peanut gallery reading way too much into things again.
  • + 12
@LittleTrace13: Only the worst informed people would think that you are giving a Nazi salute.
  • + 12
Millenials, go cry to your momies and leave the nice lady alone ????

Sincerelly,
a non-offended millenial
  • + 17
I was immediately thinking of supergirl, that is in no way a nazi gesture (even the wrong arm)

@LittleTrace13 "give me your best pose" well it's definitely a controversial pose
  • + 1
@LittleTrace13: Don't worry Tracey, I was just trying to be funny.
Did not think anyone here would believe you were really Sieg heiling.
  • + 2
@BEEner: Before those guys the romans were already using that gesture. 3rd reich copied a lot of things from other civilizations.
  • + 4
@LittleTrace13: Don't apologize for what you didn't do.

flag niib (Dec 11, 2018 at 2:57) (Below Threshold)
I doubt that she did it intentionally. Nevertheless, who cares left or right handed. You can also see the Swastika counter clockwise and it's still clear what it means. In Europe we are probably more sensitive to these symbols.
  • + 12
I don't know what I expected but I did nazi that coming
  • + 2
 @niib:
No we're not.
At least if you know your history.
I'm german and distinguishing between these things matters. We couldn't even wipe our own asses around here anymore if we suspected ill will behind any gesture and at the same time we are taught to be watchful of these things but to do that you need to draw a clear line between right and wrong. If you suspect bad intentions behind any action or symbol out of sheer similarity, you're going down a very slippery slope (as seen here).
The really bad people, they've long moved on to using other symbols in broad daylight which most of you wouldn't even know what they mean or be able to recognize.
  • + 4
 @niib:
As an add on, a friend of mine in the german army got screamed at for an extended period of time by his superior because he used his right arm to touch the shoulder of the man in front of him.
The left is usually used because of this exact reason, but his arm was limp due to a sudden injury and he did try to still follow the order. So yeah, it does matter if it's the left or right hand, because otherwise it would be hard to do anything without accidentally doing that gesture.
  • + 3
@LittleTrace13: I just figured you were staying in geometric line with your top tube :-)
  • + 5
looks more like a LIghtning Bolt
  • + 5
@LittleTrace13: Don't apologize to the numbnuts on here, Tracey! They should be offering you the apology.
  • + 2
@drangus: Nah - think Usain Bolt!
  • + 4
@Loki87: Think she was trying to do Usain Bolt's signature victory pose Wink
  • + 0
 @martin737:
So Usain Bolt confirmed racist!!! ????
  • + 2
LOL, Usain Bolt's signature victory pose went horribly wrong Wink
  • + 2
 @martin737:
That was supposed to be a ;-) smiley qnd not questionmarks
  • + 1
@Loki87: LOL, hope not. Just search for the "Usain Bolt signature pose", and you'll see what I mean. Tracey's interpretation went wrong though...
  • + 6
@LittleTrace13: You're a true pro, a real super hero, and sorry it was on my mind—weird times we live in. Fact is you're one of my favorite racers to watch. Always cheering for you to go fastest.
  • - 3
@LittleTrace13: maybe the hand closed would be better, just saying..
  • + 3
@BEEner: It wasn't even a nazi salute in the first place. That's how the roman soldiers saluted, hitler just stole the idea.
  • + 8
@LittleTrace13: Life rule #1, never apologize to the SJW internet outrage mob. Nobody with half a brain thinks you are a Nazi. Much love!
  • + 0
I'm not sure why I was downvoted by everyone. My comment was OBVIOUSLY sarcastic. I was saying "of course that's not what she's doing" (as others have stated to great acclaim).
  • + 2
 @serathestaii:
Todays blind actionism knows no boundarys.
Safe the world by clicking a thumbs down button on a comment containing the wrong trigger words.
Having a discussion has become that easy to most people!
  • + 2
Also if you see a swastika sprayed on a wall in Europe, whether it's turning clockwise or counter-clockwise, it very very very likely is a nazi symbol.
But if you're travelling in Asia (mostly) and stumble upon a temple covered with swastika, it is not.
So it's not "that" clear, it depends on what it's associated with culturally.
Hitler stole the nazi salute from the romans and the swatiska from hindus.
  • + 30
Look, while the Nazi salute is horrible and inappropriate... It done by standing at attention with the hand out in front, not standing off camber with the hand out to the side. I'm sure Tracey was goofing around and I hope she isn't backed into a corner and forced to apologize. I'm sure she's not a disgusting person like the Nazi's are. Not everyone who sticks their hand out is doing a heil salute. Cut her some slack.
  • + 13
It´s also actually done with the right hand/arm.
Dunno how people just ignore that fact.

@Loki87: Even Nazis can be left-handed...
  • + 16
@dawnchairy: they way the nazi system worked im pretty sure doing the salute eith the wrong arm just because your lefthanded was not permitted- not the most tolerant bunch those nazis
  • + 3
I doubt anyone ACTUALLY suspects TH of being a white supremacist.
  • + 2
@dawnchairy: Dude I'm from former soviet territory and here back in the day all left handed children were forced to write by right hand in the school. I don't belive that nazis were more tollerant than commies... And yeah you always hail your führer with right hand.
  • + 0
@optimumnotmaximum: sarcasm is just lost on you guys.
  • + 2
@dawnchairy: i did not downvote you or take your comment seriously. my comment also had some sarcasm in it: if you were lefthanded in nazigermany you had a big problem, you were considered as weak and abnorm and we all know what that could mean for you.
  • + 1
@optimumnotmaximum: i should have just replied in the thread.
  • + 30
Does Yoann have the LA Baguette inserts on his bike? And when’s butter sealant going to come out?
  • + 1
Sorry for the neg prop, slipped! Laughed when I saw this!!
  • + 5
The butter sealant keeps jamming up the Baguette system. They are currently working on a new spread.
  • + 2
@Boardlife69: butter, sealant.... brakes? I dont use them anyway.
  • + 23
Why would anyone think that’s a Nazi salute? First off wrong arm, she used the left arm. Second it’s off to the side no straight ahead.
  • + 37
People look for things to be offended by nowadays, we need a new plague.
  • + 13
@Clarkeh: I'm offended. Why a new plague? Whats wrong with the black plague? Oh, because its black? #Bringbacktheblackplague
  • + 1
@Clarkeh: Yeh some people try very hard to be offended by an obvious joke.
  • + 23
 The Kona's linkage is T h i c c
  • + 7
 Ugh, it's so ugly.
  • + 4
The linkage that is, not the bike as a whole. If they could just make a more streamlined rocker arm it would improve the look of that bike by a magnitude of 50
  • + 17
The Lusty bike... at first I was like... man that wheel color bothers the hell out of me. Then I realized that the wheels are fine. The match the frame inset.... it's the ugly ass fork...
  • + 2
that red fork jumped out at me instantly, wishing it was black. anything. just black.
  • + 3
the rest of the bike is an amazing work of art though!
  • + 2
For a charity benefitted the colour-blind?
Let's hope.
  • + 2
I don't know which is fuglier, the Nomad or the Polygon. It's a toss up
  • + 8
 Yoann's bike rocking baguette?
  • + 6
It takes a special kind of moron to think Tracey is a Nazi .... you people are clueless
  • + 2
Good to see the OneUp's bash guide on a proper DH rig with a clutched derailleur, without the lower tensioner roller there (Kona). I opted to go this route on my new build without much real-world review. I'm sure Connor smashing it around will surpass what I can put my rig through.
  • + 3
I had the MRP G4 on my last DH rig smashed the roller on a rock and just ran it with out, using the top guide and skid. Honestly with a clutch and NW ring I never noticed the difference part from the drive didn't clog as easy so win win!
  • + 4
QUICK someone explain the theory behind the weights on Greg's wheels to me in 2 sentences or less! GO!!
  • + 6

  • + 12

  • + 2
 Offset weight of valve.
  • + 2

  • + 9
To convince divs to spend money they don't have to buy widgets they don't need to impress people they don't know.

copy and paste for most other bike industry guff>
  • + 8
Offset the gravitational field caused by 29" wheels. Without them Greg might open up a worm hole into other dimensions.
  • + 2
@tabletop-master-ls: Try balancing a car wheel full of liquid, it will never balance up correctly. Makes me wonder how they figured this out..
  • + 4
I love these features! More bike checks! Cut Tracy some slack!
  • + 2
dont understand lacing on demo vs zelvy wheel
i thought brake spokes as inner for compliance but why stronger (outer spokes) on carbon wheel?
  • + 1
Hmm? Those both look like 32h/3x wheels
  • + 2
Are you referring to the trailing spokes being on opposite sides of the flange on each wheel? If so It’s not important, particularly for a front wheel. From my limited experience and knowledge of wheel building I think its likely just preference of the builder.
  • + 2
@iqbal-achieve: if I'm getting really OCD on my builds. I do pulling spokes inside on the rear, and flip it for the front. Idk. Braking input is probably more intense than pedaling. So it probably makes sense to some extent...
  • + 2
I love how they designed the toptube of that Polygon to be parallel with Tracey's arm, and also how they matched the colour of the bike to her riding kit.
  • + 3
Yoann, brake lever piss take of the year.
  • + 2
McMillans leg lift salute is so offensive. So insensitive... ha ha ha!!!!! Scuzzballs.
  • + 0
My favourite thing is to see the 'anti-sjw' crowd making a scene about how rational they are compared to the people who were just giggling at the poor choice of photos for this article.
  • + 1
The Commencal Meta is a true bro bike. There's something in the way it stands on the ground. Looks like it's flying. Also, with the way the seat looks slammed way down.
  • + 3
I think it should be "Steve Peat's Hightower LT"
  • + 3
I think Peaty's bike is actually a HT LT.
  • + 2
Tracey's bike looks so low and that Kona really needs a sticker on the rocker.
  • + 1
I get function over fashion and all that, but seriously...
Can they not design that Polygon so it is not ugly AF???
  • + 1
The single pivot models look fine in a completely generic way.
  • + 2
Sorry but that Nomad is stealing the show.
  • + 1
That Rockshox Lyrik Air with SD Component DVC upgrade looks interesting. I have to check them out!!!
  • + 1
I love the custom paint jobs but I have to admit, Minnaar’s looks a bit all over the place.
  • + 2
Well that Nomad is certainly... eyecatching?
  • + 3
 its...something alright.
  • + 2
Cool bikes but no results posted? You know it happened like two days ago.
  • + 1
 also no triair on moseley.....
  • + 1
Some sick marzocchi suspension on that demo.
  • + 1
'Lusty Industries'. The favored lipstick brand of 13-y/o girls everywhere
  • + 1
Man, the new Santa Cruz 5010 looks great lmao
  • + 1
 Donny looking more like Walter
  • + 2
Every Donny wants to be a Walter, but in the end the Dude abides
  • + 1
Fearons Operator looks like the Stay Puft marshmallow man.
  • + 0
That demmo looks sweet. would look much more appealing with a Fox 40 and Saint brakes.
  • + 0
I think it said "Connor runs flat pedals with XL balls for max grip"
  • - 1
Connor, that spider on your fork...kill it with fire.
  • - 2
The polygon has an e assist
