Well done brayton. That's a big win. Push on lad! Those times are tighter than a gnats chuff.

Peaty the best!!!
(Jun 3, 2013 at 0:28)
because its less in Euros ?
(Jun 3, 2013 at 1:15)
Hey Sam wtf are you doing? Stopping on the track chilling a few seconds with the spectators, having a beer and finally leave???
(Jun 3, 2013 at 2:33)
what? You saying during his race run he decides to park off on the side of the track to swop some chat with the spectators?
(Jun 3, 2013 at 2:52)
no, he is just wondering what the hell happened to guy who used to be without effort waaaaaayyyy faster than anyone
(Jun 3, 2013 at 2:55)
for anyone who wonders, from sam's instagram "was a hard track to learn and get used to being so tight and hard to remember lines without much practice." we will see this week if hee still got this
(Jun 3, 2013 at 3:03)
Maybe he doesn't want to push it 100% since the world cup starts in a week?
(Jun 3, 2013 at 3:33)
That's the trick racing inners, it all looks the same got to use the force
(Jun 3, 2013 at 4:08)
He was flat out at the bottom pulled off this gnarly line that no one else even attempted! Also losing 5s is easy, all it takes is not pushing hard enough through a couple sections or a mistake or two. Maybe he's lulling them into a false sense of security, then come Fort Bill boom!!!
(Jun 3, 2013 at 4:14)
"was a hard track to learn and get used to being so tight and hard to remember lines without much practice."
I raced in it and it was a straight line blast down the hill, about 5 corners to 'remember', agree it was a bit tight in places, but still a straight line and not much to learn overall, probably the easiest track I've ever raced there!!
He looked like he didn't want to be there all weekend and didn't look like he was trying all that much, so I'd probably agree that he's was saving himself for FW next weekend
(Jun 3, 2013 at 4:26)
Which track did you ride buddy? Also uplift was shockingly bad
(Jun 3, 2013 at 4:42)
Hey dead shit you do better pull ya head in
(Jun 3, 2013 at 5:03)
Sam seems to be getting on with his new team and the bikes fine, hopefully he's going to smash it next weekend! I have a feeling he wasn't pushing as hard as he could have anyway, due to the fact it's the first round of the world cup next weekend...
(Jun 3, 2013 at 5:55)
Sam is a great racer and no matter what happens from here out he will go down as one of the greatest of all time. That being said, he MAY be past his prime. We will know soon enough. The thing is that Sam's riding style and approach has set the tone for a whole generation of racers and some of them have simply caught up and potentially passed him. If you follow Sam on Instagram you can see his new family and baby boy are a BIG focus in his life now. Part of me thinks he is not as 100% into biking as he used to be. Those of you with kids know how hard it is to split that time up. Bring on Ft Bill !
(Jun 3, 2013 at 6:16)
Nobody does any maintenance or building at inners, it is fun, but it is too tight in places, a few trees here and there can go.
(Jun 3, 2013 at 6:31)
If you look at the results Stevie smith wasn't on the podium and Blenkinsop was well back. Also I was down for a 3rd run at about 15.00 (uplift had been going since 9.30), one of the marshalls told me Hill had done 3 runs, Gee was the same and Stevie Smith had done 4. It took almost an hour and a half to get up top and do a run, the uplift was ridiculously slow. I'm waiting to see how this pans out from next weekend onwards.

Impressive result from bulldog too. He can't have much local knowledge of that track
(Jun 3, 2013 at 5:16)
Don't know which track they used but he was 2nd in the IXS there last year. Still a great result in such a stacked field though!
(Jun 3, 2013 at 4:58)
Anyone know where Gwin was? Si kept saying that he was going to be there along with all the other top riders... Guess he just wants to rest ready for Fort William next weekend...?
(Jun 3, 2013 at 5:56)
Gwin is flying to UK today. Specialized sat out the race as well as Giant
(Jun 3, 2013 at 8:45)
was Buchanan 3rd on a 650b bike? anyone else rolling larger wheels in that race?
(Jun 3, 2013 at 0:18)
Why do they win euros and not pounds?
(Jun 3, 2013 at 1:10)
UCi cat 1 race so prize money is in Euros.
(Jun 3, 2013 at 0:26)
It's most likely a UCI regulation.
(Jun 3, 2013 at 2:43)
Hmm think we know now who's been training hard in the off season.
(Jun 3, 2013 at 5:21)
Where was the unstoppable whip machine Danny Hart?
(Jun 3, 2013 at 7:33)
He was up Hamsterley just chilling instead... Sure he would have been in the top 3 though if he was racing on the weekend.
(Jun 3, 2013 at 6:36)
mr gas to flat...git her done!
(Jun 3, 2013 at 8:25)

(Jun 3, 2013 at 1:05)
(Jun 3, 2013 at 1:57)

(Jun 3, 2013 at 2:08)
