Adam Hauck signs with rasoulution’s Athlete Management Program

From the boardwalks of New Jersey to the cobblestone streets of Catania, Italy, Adam Hauck has been making heads turn in disbelief as he tailwhips his way to podiums from Sea Otter to Nuremburg, Germany. At Interbike 2006, Adam signed on to [L=http://www.rasoulution.com]rasoulution’s[/L] athlete management program. The eighteen-year-old mountain bike phenomenon has been on the scene for just over two years. Adam’s first appearance was as an alternate for the Red Bull Bike Battle in Baltimore in 2004, on a borrowed bike. He didn’t make it to the podium but his riding caught the attention of the right people. In 2005, Black Market Bikes picked up the east coast new school rider and he began to ride more contests across North America. Recently he filmed a groundbreaking video part in Match Videozine 8 and appeared in a two-page spread in Decline’s October issue with a wallride-to-tailwhip photo.

2006 was the year that Adam would break out. At the Sea Otter Classic dirt jump invitational in April, he finished in second place behind Timo Pritzel. The podium finish earned him the final “Wild Card” for the Red Bull District Ride—a free trip to Italy and a chance to compete against the world’s best freeriders in Europe.

Adam’s trip to Italy encountered some problems and he arrived the morning of qualifying for the District Ride. Jetlagged and extremely tired from his first international trip, the young US rider quickly put his bike together and did a few practice runs before his first qualifying run. He missed qualifying for the finals by two spots, but his placing was enough to secure an invite to the next District Ride in Nuremburg, Germany.

His next international trip to Germany was easier than his previous European trip. He arrived on schedule and had plenty of time to adjust to Germany and the new District Ride course in Nuremburg. Adam was one of five riders to compete in the Oakley Sick-O-Award trick contest, up against big guns like Aaron Chase, Cameron McCaul, Grant Fielder and Lance McDermott. He threw down a run filled with insane tech riding mixed with huge tricks, like a wallride-to-tailwhip and a walltap to fakie, which was good enough to take home 1,000 euros and the Sick-O-Award title.

During the Red Bull District Ride contest, Adam’s first run put him in 8th place. He used his first run as a “safety run” to stay in the top ten, and saved his bigger and more risky tricks for his second run. Unfortunately, the rain in Nuremburg prevented the riders from taking their second runs and the standings for the contest were based on the riders’ first run.

After a successful year domestically and internationally, Adam Hauck approached rasoulution to help him manage his career and take advantage of the opportunities that were being offered to him.

rasoulution will manage the 18 year old rider in order to find the appropriate partners and coordinate his activities during the upcoming season. The American joins the growing rasoulution Athlete Management program which includes riders like the Spanish Lacondeguy brothers, Norwegian freeride pros Trond Hansen and Niels Windfeldt, 2006 4X Vice World Champion Roger Rinderknecht and the Euro BMX legend Benny Korthaus.

Adam Hauck has already made multiple appearances in videos and magazines, and with the help of rasoulution, you can expect to see a lot more of him. His latest video segment was just released at Interbike 2006 with the Atomlab/Black Market team video, “Tough As Hell”. He plans to spend the winter practicing at Woodward Camp with Jeff Lenosky and Aaron Chase. After such an amazing year, who knows what will happen after another winter in the foam pit.

I seen Adam Hauck at an event a little over a year ago. This guy is good, with a bit of time he will be the best. It's good to see that he is getting hooked up with some companies. I will be bold and say that he is the best at tailwhips, I've seen most of the best Canadian and American riders and none of them can do tailwhips as good as he can

I first heard about Adam Hauck through Aaron Lutze at Matchvideozine about 1.5 years ago and he's sky rocketed since then. Good work with hooking up with Tarek and Rasoulution!
