2012 Alaska Adventure film festival winner. Over the summer of 2012 the JGS crew went out to Alyeska Resort and filmed this video. Check out our site at www.jgsconcepts.com to learn more about what all we do. Thanks and Enjoy!
We had one day only to film out at the Resort so we had to use what we had for film. We got super lucky and the day turned blue for us. I agree there is some shots that could be taken out and such but all in all we are happy with the film. It won the 2012 Alaska Adventure Film Festival so we are pretty stoked.
Don't get me wrong, you guys did a great job! I was just being a smart ass Props to you guys, the editing and everything was great and you can't go wrong with Glitch Mob Tron remix!
I have been to Anchorage and Alyaska a few times and had no idea there was anyone riding DH up there. Next time I go I guess I will need to bring a bike. The best thing is you guys have so much day light in the summer but that is short lived with you only have a few nice days and then the snow. I would move to Alaska tommorrow if it was nice like it is in July all year! Great job guys!
to me it looks like a group of dudes having a good time. isn't that what riding is all about? I looked at your page and you dont look so hot your self. i dont see you producing any video's, where are they at? just have fun man.
#1 Congrats again JGSConcepts! #2 What a lucky day for this summer in Gwood! 1 in 100 sunny days! #3 I can't wait to see the next parts! #4 I wish my friends from Mexico will come to enjoy this trails! #5 What a great job that motivates more people! Community here is growing 3 times fast since last year!
Awesome edit. you could use another experienced builder though. one season is all you need. you guys are doing well. 2 fast jumps into a skinny of direction drop. thats gonna get blown out and a big wreck. when i come this winter to ski I can apply then. ENJOY.
my folks went on vacation thare this year. They took some pics of the trails from the gondola for me, and when I see this vid, I want to ride it EVEN MORE!!!
Nice to see the homies out on a sunny day. Every day I made it out this summer was pissing rain. Alyeska is steep as f*ck and wet, like >4" of rain in a day wet. Jake's vision and creative trailbuilding techniques and the hard work of his crew have made something special. And it's just getting started, this was only the second season for Alyeska DH with many more to come!
editing is good...ive seen these same guys go bigger and with more style like JGS said this is only the start of riding in AK hopefully the resort does a better job of building trails up top next summer good attempt for there 1st season tho.
Totes reminds me of MSP's "The way i see it". That jump they have at the start of this vid has the same background as the huge booter in MSP's vid. So sick
Looks like hero dirt! soundtrack was decent (turned it up and pissed of the neighbor) you boys have a lot of work ahead of you but your making big strides. Solid effort on the footage!
Thanks again Josh and all the rest of the awesome film dudes that got this put together. This is what the resort needs and it is great to see it finally happen! Can't wait to work with you guys again!
I lived in gwood for 3 years. I freaking love that town. If you havent been you need to go. I was up there this summer ripping my killswitch on alyeska. those trails r amazing!!!
Just wanted to note that you list spy as a sponsor but then in your first shot of a rider they're rockin scott goggles. You should matte that sucker out in after effects
Thanks, this was only part of 3 trails at the Resort and all filmed in one day, we are pretty stoked to go back and film on the other trails and have some more time next summer.
