Barcelona, Spain, February 15th – The perfect Valentine’s gift comes from Andreu Lacondeguy this year. Together with the crew from Black Media, Andreu shot We Are Family 2
The fact that no jump is big enough for Andreu is not really news to anyone. The course that was built at La Fenasosa near the city of Alicante in Spain is ample proof of that, since the dimensions are according to his taste: huge. Andreu gets rip jumps that were built specifically according to his wishes and are the perfect fit for him and his never-before seen stunts on a massive scale. After three days of building, it is clear to see how much fun he has on his very own perfect playground: one trick is more mind-blowing than the next – be it a nacnac flatspin, backflip tsunami or a double backflip.
The makers of the clip, Black Media, are a production crew that Andreau co-founded himself. Together with his friends Sebas Romero (a well-known action sports and lifestyle photographer), Pablo Moreno (a freelance editor, photographer and freerider), as well as Mito and Javi Echevarria, they are also the producers and masterminds behind the first We Are Family film.
As the clip was shot last year, we still see Andreu riding his old Kona bike. Ever since the Red Bull Rampage, he has been tricking it on his brand new Mondraker as you’ll be able to see in his upcoming video projects. Only a few weeks ago, Andreu traveled over the ocean to visit Cam White and rip the massive jumps in his Australian backyard. The action coming to your screen from down under will definitely be something to gasp at. On top of that, Andreu obviously won’t miss the chance to ride Masters of Dirt in Graz, Vienna and Ljubljana. So there is plenty of Andreu action coming our way in 2011!

Was that not you who said eight comments up, that you went from 10 to 17, and almost broke your neck.....BECAUSE OF THE WIND!!!. If you are going to flame somebody, at least do it with some thought beforehand. If anything, this guy, and others like him who go that huge, are helping to progress the sport, and if they don't feel comfortable with something, those who do not have the skills that they do, have no room to judge!! Just my opinion.
Awesome video though, loved it. Cant wait for the next episodes!
In general though, videos like FRAMED looked way better in the Vimeo HD version, at least i thought so?
Brett.... Billy....... shut up.
Yes yes im late to the conversation.
This guy sends it big no matter what.... Ya ya he talks trash, so what hes no humble. He doesn't have to be. He clearly has "little man syndrome" that makes him think hes god. Most little dudes do. And some think they don't but they do. No matter what though we have to agree that he will shred circles around us so hard, we would suck his wedding vegies for some of that talent.
Hey squishy, you do know the size of bag of that mans tricks? dude, fatter than santa! with a bigger bag to boot!! sell your whine at the next cheeze party not in the respect booth that is this mans video.
When I used to DJ, I never did it on windy days because it screwed with my head. Nor would I jump ANYTHING that wasn't built to a certain standard. And I wasn't doing stuff anywhere near the size that Andreu is doing.
As mountain bikers a wrong decision could cost us skin, bones, the use of our legs, or our lives. Never disresepect any other mountain biker's decision not to ride, jump or drop. The bigger the stunt, the worse the consequences. And when sponsors are involved, sure the rider has a duty to perform, but the rider also has a duty to LOOK AFTER THEMSELVES. Example: Rachel Atherton - a bad riding decision cost her and her sponsors dearly.
I would say he is a bit of a douche, plain and simple. Although he is exciting to watch in videos, I'll give him that.
wtf terrible song
But what's with the sounds track?
"Goog sex is good" repeat x 100.
