Yeah thanks. I noticed those too, in fact that's why I wrote "fake welds".

My joke was inspired by the recently revealed Trek and Specialized carbon DH bikes, the comments in the latter's article questioning if it was carbon or not (the answer being "There are no welds"), plus the assumption that Giant also have a carbon DH bike in the works. Must one write "It's a joke!" whenever one makes a joke?

I shoulda just written "Looks like a Trek" which would have ALSO been a joke and also based on previous articles and their comments.

Minnaar is good, but Needles has a different style which in my eyes, I prefer. thats just my opinion.
