So he created SUNN bikes then got fired then created Commencial? Man that guy must be talented

Yup, this is also why you find the same linkage system (something very similar) in both the Sunn Radical/Kern and the "old" Commencal Supreme V2. And they both work really well.

Except now Sunn went bankrupt, got salvaged by Look (to be confirmed, not 100% sure) and that probably explains why the Team Sunn Montgenevre in WC has been riding on Transition TR450 for this season (apparently no bike left for them to ride on apart in Peetermaritzburg, 1st WC of the season)

There, couldn't remember if it was Look or not ^^

For the record, he wasn't fired by Sunn, he was made redundant by the company when they became bankrupt the first time round back in the nineties - which is when Commencal arrived on the scene with Max at the helm and quite a lot of the old Sunn employees behind the scenes.

I still dont understand what must have happened. How can the guy who created a company be made redundant unless he gave the majority to other partners which is relatively unheard of.

This is in a season following an injury that nearly paralyzed him, you can't expect him to be riding at full form this year dude.

Ah, I'm afraid I read 'plate' as 'place', I apologise, that was a knee-jerk reaction and wasn't cool.
