bigquotesI'm looking forward to meeting and riding with all of you. Punta San Carlos is a special place and it's always fun to show mountain bikers a new trail, location, or skill they have never experienced. On top of all the great riding we'll get to do together, the food, surf, relaxation and parties will keep us all smiling. I'm excited to ride without a race # on my bike, not having cell coverage, and hanging out with some new friends. We'll see you all soon!!!

For what it's worth, those colors Brian is wearing are hideous.

It kinda dissapoints me when pros have personal mechanics that travel with them. I understand having a mechanic crew at a comp so your bike can get fixed quickly, but why not learn how to do the stuff yourself so you don't need a follower when you go film?

Having a wrench on site is vital. ALL pros have mechanics.... For those that have worked in shops, you will have heard the ol' phrase about the inverse relationship between speed and mechanical abilities. While there are exceptions, we should all recognize the guys that keep the world's best riders' bikes in top tune.

Louiscritchie, I believe people should know how to dial in and repair their own bikes and that is a big reason Brian is bringing his mechanic with him. Not only will Joe keep all our bikes dialed in and running smooth but to teach and pass down his many years of tips, tricks and knowledge for those that want to learn. Joe will also help teach us about suspension tuning and how and why we would want to change it for different terrain and riding styles. Joe is not only coming on this trip to keep Brian's and all of our bikes running perfect but as part of the whole learning and teaching experience as well!
