The second stop of the Bell Enduro Cup heads to Canyons Resort in Park City, Utah this Saturday, July 20. The stop is the only race in Utah listed on the North American Enduro Tour. A stellar roster of over 200 racers with names like Brian Lopes, Adam Craig, Jeremy Horgan-Kobelski, Heather Irmiger and Kelli Emmett will take on the rowdy single track unlike anything else in Park City. Riders are expected to reach speeds upwards of 40 mph through off-camber, rooty sections sure to challenge the most skilled riders.

The Bell Enduro Cup was inspired by the incredible success of the Wasatch Enduro founded by Ali Goulet at Canyons Resort in 2012. This season, Bell Enduro Cup includes three stops—the series’ first stop this past May in Moab, this second stop at Canyons Resort and the final race at Sundance Resort August. 18.

The race at Canyons follows a true European format with six stages covering 17miles; three timed technical descents and three untimed climbs. Racers will be treated to a premier event based out of the Canyons Resort village, beautiful and challenging aspen lined trails, which have received a lot of recent rainfall, professional chip timing, a post-race meal, athlete gift bag and raffle. The event concludes with a free concert featuring JJ Grey & Mofro at 6pm.

Registration is filling quickly, but a few spots remain. For more information visit www.endurocupmtb.com. Follow the action here on Pinkbike!

Man, Canyons and PCMR are really stepping up their game. Stupid deer valley hasn't done a thing in five years and they raised their lift prices again!

I hope they run it like the Moab race instead of like they did last year where you were waiting 40+ mins. in between the climbing and timed stages. Just rode insurgent to lower holly's yesterday and there have been some improvements made. It's going to be perfect conditions, I can't wait.

Hi Scott- It will be the same format as Moab with assigned stage one and two starts. After those stages, riders are free to continue at their own pace. See you out there!

I just got back from Canyons resort a week or two ago. I did some downhilling...went on my favorite run of all times (so far)...
Wild Mouse...sadly, my gopro wasn't working, so kudos to whoever the rider is in this edit...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TQNeLWW7srY

Fellas (and ladies), the dirt is PRIME. I have the (mis)fortune of being local, so I get to ride PC and The Canyons a lot. The past dew days we have had some rain as the blurb notes, and the trails are in race-freaking-tastic conditions! I am so amped for tomorrow's race I'm up reading PinkBike at 1115 (2315) when I should be in bed since I have to be up there at seven in the morning.
