With over two decades to improve upon its cousin the A-Team, the Brodie B-Team is set to roll for 2006. This year Mason Mashon, Kyle Hansen, Darcy Turenne, and Amber Zimhelt make up the pro team and although most members of the B-Team weren’t even born when the A-Team TV show went to air, the crew has as much style as Mr.T’s hair-do with their new Nemisis, Devo, and Cretin frames.Meet the 2006 B-Team:

Kyle Hansen:

Coming from the “island of wonder” (Vancouver Island), Kyle has recently emerged as one of the most progressive and dedicated freeriders around. His street, dirt, and big-line skills have gained the respect of filmmakers and riders alike and for 2006 he will continue to strut his stuff in front of the lens…and rip pretty much every waking hour he is able to ride his bike.

Mason Mashon:

At 20 Mason is already a veteran at Brodie. Returning to the B-Team for the 5th year, Mason will be based in Whistler for the 2006 season where he will be riding, producing, and shooting for his production and clothing company voleurz. In addition to freeriding and shooting around B.C. and the U.S.A., Mase will be racing in select 4-cross races including Crankworx and coaching young rippers in Whistler. Darcy Turenne:

Recently straying from the Canada and World Cup DH circuit, Darcy will focus her efforts on freeriding for the 2006 season. Ripping dirt, street, slopestyle, and big lines, at age 22 she continues to push the status of women’s freeriding to the next level. In addition to filming for video, print, and television, and attending major mountain bike events such as Crankworx, Darcy is co-organizing and competing in the world’s premier girls-only freeride competition, Slope Sistair II.

Amber Zirnhelt

For the 2006 season, Amber will continue to tear up the BC Cup downhill circuit, western Canadian Canada cups, and Crankworx on her Devo. Not only is she a dedicated downhill racer, but she is also a very versatile cross country rider who will be doing select endurance races such as the Test of Metal. In addition to dominating the race circuit, Amber is a ride leader for John Henry Bikes and is an active member in the cycling community through teaching camps and programs that encourage youth to get involved in riding.

Kyle Johnson

Also from Vancouver Island, 19-year old Kyle will be dominating the race circuit and freeride scene in 2006. Notorious for his speed and style, he will be racing both 4-cross and downhill in the BC Cup circuit as well as being a new member of the of Flow Riders and traveling around to amaze spectators around the Canada in Flow Show exhibitions.
