CRC/Nukeproof: Prepare to Succeed

Mar 18, 2011
by Cut Media
Team ChainReactionCycles/Nukeproof riders Matt Simmonds and Joe Smith are hoping to make a big impact on the downhill race scene this year, and as part of the pre-season build up we’ve got a video edit of the two riders doing what they do best – riding, ripping and ragging on their home riding spots.Mixed in with plenty of cross-country, downhill and even road riding footage, Matt Simmonds gives us the lowdown on his favourite local trails and reveals his hopes for the upcoming season and desire to be selected for the World Championships.

Shot in high-definition, and including riding footage of the brand new Nukeproof Scalp, this vid gives you a glimpse at what goes on behind-the-scenes in the life of a pro downhill rider.

the aim of advertising is to draw attention to the brand and in the case of this vid it has worked
hell theres already 6 peeps talking about it and beacuse its at the top it will be the one that everyone reads
that is VERY good advertising
ladies and gentlemen i rest my case Smile

yes, it worked like genius....now the brand has a reputation for marketing overkill and that switches off a lot of people who don't mind subtle brand promotion, but don't like this excessive ra-ra look-at-me marketing. marketing shouldn't be invasive; this is

I too would like to see more examples to practice my technique.
See, I always rinse, wash dry. I really think I need another rinse since some foods taste like soap?

Oh, and the rest was ace

They definitely need a good hot rinse before being placed on the draining board, they dry quicker and it eliminates possibliity of dried in soapy lather. Oh and the bike riding was great too, both seem like real cool guys.

Natasdemo9 should be banned for the comment! its shocking the negativity involved in mtbing sometimes. I really think people need to support people doing what they love. Guess some people can't help their shocking attitudes!

Hmmm yeah lets all pressure wash you bike like that kids.....

CRC wants you to wreck your forks, BB, bearings etc, cos, well, hmmm where are you going to buy replacements? Oh year CRC.

I guess no one ever told them to never pressure wash around the bearings, forks, or rear shock?

I love the owner's manual to my Nomad: think whatever you want about us but we suggest you to wash your bike as rarely as possible, and never with pressure
