Chatel Mountain Style 2011 - Day 1

Bonjour! Beautiful and sunny, Chatel, France welcomes the world's best riders this weekend. The Chatel Mountain Style is an FMB World Tour Gold Event with two separate categories, Amateur and Pro.

The Face course is 300 meters long and full of jumps and drops. The judges will be giving points for the fluidity of ride, style, difficulty level of chosen line, and tricks.

 Yeah this is going to be insane! Pilgs is not the much of a big freerider, more of a dirt jump/typical slopestyle rider ... so my money is on Claw, Semenuk, Zink and Strait. But can't wait to see what Kelly McGarry gets down aswel, he's an amazing hucker!

 He may no longer be a sponsored athlete, but it does not mean that he cannot ride a bike. It will be interesting to see if he is at the event.

 i see alexs name on the confirmed riders list, surely he would have called out if he wasnt going. i hope he went! and i hope he tears it up! otherwise this is still one of the biggest courses of the FMB tour and it should be sick!
