i was in shock that the frontflip barspin didn't take it. that double tail 3 was big, but not as badass, and certainly not a backflip. to say that thats yanni's backflip style (not going inverted) means that he's not really doing backflips. super epic riding either way
i prefered yannick's trick tp the fronty to barspin, i know there super rowdy and everything but they are becoming a bit overkill in competitions.. its nice for a best trick comp not to go to a fronty or a double backflip for a change
yep it was a 360 douple whip, but the frontflip tailwhip (lookslike failed landing) and the frontflip barspin is waaay more rare then the winners trick in my opinion
I was standing at the 40 foot ramp watching the whole thing. He didn't land the front tailwhip, but he tried it three time and each time he was very close. Anyone know who it was tring that? @ 0:49
Benny Phillips was trying them last year at kokanee. Couldnt quite stomp one though. Then an edit of him came out about a month and a half ago where he lands one.
even if he rode out on the seat, i think it deserves it...its a front flip tail whip. i never thought that would be doable...but then again i never thought i would see dirt bikes do 360's and front flips and so many other tricks....
progression is flat insane!
Dude, I think Yannik won because he is sponsored by Red Bull, just as the event itself is. The same thing at the Bergline, where Andreu took the win, although Reynolds run was better... still a badass trick though!
I don't know how they do it in Brazil, but in the US the real professionals use licensed music. If you want to pitch in $10k+ in licensing fees I'll happily use a song of your choice.
