DT Swiss acquires Pace fork business.

Adrian Carter, the owner and inspiration behind the iconic Pace brand will bring his 20 years of experience into this deal, by acting as technical consultant to DT Swiss in the transition period and for future developments. Pace forks will be integrated into the overall DT Swiss suspension range within the next 6 – 12 months. Pace will continue to manufacture and supply customers with its full fork range during the transition period for the model year 2007.

Pace Cycles Ltd. continues to manufacture and sell frames, clothing and its other products under the Pace brand. The companies have agreed that after the transition period production of forks will be relocated to the DT Swiss factory in Switzerland, after which Pace will become the exclusive UK Distributor of the full range of DT Swiss suspension products as well as continuing its renowned suspension technical, spares and service support in the UK. The parties have agreed confidentiality on the further details of the deal.

 pace are a big brand in britain just because you guys havn't heard of them it doesn't mean they are shit. if their rebadged manitou how come their all carbon lowers i wasn't aware that manitou did that or had a lockout system which had adjustable thresh hold. they also produce the lightest 5inch fork available and have been producing forks since the early 90's

 steve peat is the top dh racer in the world no damned canadians come close. Now i havn't got anything againsta canada but britain has the mail and female dh world champions and a 17yr old peaty protege that allready has a world class elite podium finish under his belt and numerous top tens.

 pace was actually the first one ever to have the "reverse arch" technology on forks. Manitou copied them. And besides, you should know that the Specialized XC team runs Pace forks

 i have never heard of pace... they look alot like the take Fox forks and rebuild them with their name on it but they must not be that good nobody i know of knows of pace.
