Devinci receives the official winner at the factory…

After holding the Canada wide "I did it my way!" contest last summer, Cycles Devinci is greeting the winner at the factory from March 11th to March 17th 2007. David Cusack from Victoria, BC will be participating in the building process of his own bike, from tube machining to components assembly. The Devinci team will be supporting and assisting David in each step of his bike manufacturing process. He also gets to choose the graphic design and color of his bike, which really personalizes his Frantik 3.

In order for David to make the most of his trip, he will be taking advantage of the charms, sights and features of Saguenay. Several activities have been planned according to his tastes, like snowshoeing on the Monts-Valin, ice fishing, ice climbing, dog sledding as well as visiting a few regional businesses.

The main objective of the contest was to remind cyclists that Devinci is building its bikes at the factory, still located in Québec, Canada. Every single authorized Devinci dealer had a personalized aluminium contest box in their shop, where customers were invited to drop their ballot.

The winning coupon was drawn here at Devinci in Chicoutimi this past August, after collecting all boxes from everywhere in Canada. The total value of the prize is 12 900$.

It’s with enthusiasm, excitement and pride that Cycles Devinci will be welcoming the couple in their installations. In David’s last communication with us, he stated that he is getting very excited and is really looking forward to being here and building the beast!

That's a pretty rad contest to have won! Imagine a bike company that builds their own bikes, flying you in, helping design your bike and taking you through the building process? Sweet!
