Such a cool video. They ride my favorite trail so fast it's crazy. I also know where all those other jumps like the gap between the two spines and the one that eric porter overshot are.

the butterfly/moth at the beginning was siiick. definitely one of those moments where when you're filming you're like "did that just happen?!"

That McGarry fulla with the golden locks is getting himself around at the moment! That Backflip at the end is mental.

Oh man, what a sick edit! Cool to see those guys riding hard, having a good time off the bike, and even crashing hard. Another VOD vote!

Stoke factor is high on this one. Great riding and killer vid, fellas. I'd "favorite" this for sure if it was hosted on PB.

could i run a 180mm, or even 200mm, fork on my mission, like they are doing
  • 1 1
yea, just might make your head angle a little more slack thats all
  • 1 0
how do i do that, and how do u know that
  • 2 2
joshua: I strongly recommend against it. Pro teams like DB5 are running prototype gear and non-production frames. Don't copy what you see. It's not what it appears, and you are not a pro.

putting a longer fork on the bike will raise the front end putting the wheel further foward, thus slackening the head angle the fork will be pointing more across than is was doing before, which is no bad thing. I would contact diamondback before you do it and check it will not void you warranty.

okay i will do that tom thanks, and eric porter is runnig a standard scapegoat frame

He also gets replacement frames if he breaks his. And he's running his dorados at 180mm.

I forgot to add you probably shouldn't go over 180mm. measure the axle to crown length and compare before you make a decision. Keep in mind 20mm is less than one inch
