Emtn 2012 : It's Going to Be A Crazy Week!

The Trophee of Nations is taking an important turn this year, after 4 previous events who took place in les 2 Alpes; Vars; Val D’allos and Sauze D’Oulx.

The international nature of the event wanted as the annual gathering by nations of the mountain bike enduro’s planet, was for the 1st time exported in 2011 outside french borders and from the enduro series format. This 1st time was a success and had allowed the trophy to step up once again. Today, France and Italy are definitly the strongest nations of enduro because both nations benefit from solid national and local series. Both countries stand up also by their elite riders. Proof, both nations shared Sauze’s podium.


Nothing more natural than to double the bet, double the pleasure, double the suspense and to offer the 2012 E MTN on 2 weekend; the 28-29 of july in Sauze d’Oulx-Italy and in Valloire-France the 4-5 of August. The 2 villages border stations are only 1h drive away. A simple system of points will decide the best National team. In case of equality after the 2 rounds, the winner of the E-MTN will be the team who takes the best of two at the last stage in Valloire.

The rules are simple, in Italy we will follow the Super Enduro’s regulations; and in France the Enduro Series-FFC regulations .

The E MTN has already welcomed Greek, Finnish, Germans, Welsh, English, Swiss, Americans, Romanians, Belgians. Enduro racing at the dawn of it’s international explosion is now developing in Spain, Ireland, Portugal, Canada...all countries are expected for the now annual enduro meeting.



France already won the trophy 4 times, with the Americans and Italians close behind. Who will be the 1st nation to triumph and dethrone enduro’s Clementz, Gally and Doucende in 2011? Sauze and Valloire’s trails, famous in the enduro world, will crown the world's best country in this growing race discipline.

Countries can offer 1,2 or 3 squads of 3 riders. Acceptance of these teams is the decision of the organizing commitee.
