Oct 19, 2013
by Mike Kazimer
The first day of the Enduro World Series #7 has concluded in Finale Ligure, with Jared Graves emerging in the lead just barely ahead of Jerome Clementz, and Fabien Barel nipping at their heels. Junior rider Martin Maes finished in fourth - an impressive result for anyone, especially a sixteen year old. We'll have a full race recap and photos up later today. Stay tuned.

Go to a EWS round. DH has peaked.

Although I see Enduro getting more popular I don't see it overtaking DH as the showpiece event. I personally think it's just a glorified DH competition anyway with all the practice and uplift a lot of the events have.

Where is the rallyman (Nino Schurter), he got skills to do it well too... What happened with it?, seriuosly... The other rallyman, Fontana is only 2 seconds back Steve Peat and 1 second of Cedric...

Nino has a 6 minute penalty. No idea why though.

 Anybody see D-Atherton?
  • 3 0
Nino had a mechanical a got a 6min penalty At the end of Stage 1 he was in position 15th, ahead of people like Peat or Ratboy- in stage 2 he finished 56, this was the hardest stage, I was there and it was really cool, lots of rocks, really tight and great switchbacks- in stage 3 he was ahead of mr.Gracia! and finished in position 19! It is clear that Nino is not only a good XC rider but a great enduro biker

I think its awesome how you can take downhill world cup pros & XC world cup pros. Put them both in an enduro race & have it be so competitive.
