Rider owned bike company, Transition Bikes announces Evan Holmgren as the newest member to their sponsored factory team. Evan will be riding a Trail-or-Park hardtail and BottleRocket for 2007. Evan has a long history of being involved with the progression of freeriding in the North Shore area, especially dirt jumping and park riding.“We got a call one day from Evan telling us he was interested in sponsorship. It turns out he was doing the product review of the Trail-or-Park for and loved the bike so much he wanted to keep it. Evan was a perfect match for us. He has a great attitude, is a very well rounded rider and is only 45 minutes away so we can ride with him anytime, says Transition Bikes owner Kevin Menard.”

Evan will be focusing his efforts on dirt jump comps and slopestyle events for 2007. “He has such a great presence at events and has a renewed energy for riding since we signed him. We are very excited to have him representing our company and throwing down at events. You should have seen the look on his face when we handed him his new BottleRocket slopestyle frame. This bike was exactly what he was looking for in a full suspension bike so he can show off his riding style to its fullest, says Menard.”

Transition Bikes is a rider owned company based out of Ferndale Washington. Started by Kyle Young and Kevin Menard in 2002, Transition Bikes has grown tremendously from a reputation of building solid freeride bikes designed by people that ride day in and day out and know what real riders want. Transition bikes now has six bikes to choose from to meet specific rider’s needs as well as a full line of components.
