Dean invited me up to Vancouver Island for a film trip on a holiday weekend of mine. I made the short drive from the confines of the Northwest up to the unknowns in Victoria open minded and without a clue what to expect. We had a long few days of shooting that came with a lot more obstacles then we initially accounted for. Dean's truck ended up getting caught in some deep mud up on Mt. Prevost, the rain caught us at seemingly every turn, and we ended up just wearing ourselves down to the point that it made getting up for the next film day seemingly impossible. Dean and I relied on our own Fortitude to keep up and finish what we started. For as many obstacles as we did seem to run across, every one of them was worth overcoming.
