The dictionary and spell check says honor. There is no U, nor is there a u in color.
  • 51 17
But there is a U in Neighbour, Honour, and Colour.
  • 40 14
 Not in the U.S dictionary
  • 149 28

  • 62 37
Oh, look at all the Brits and Aussies complaining about spelling!
We have as much right to our spelling, seeing as we don't belong to you any more than you do us, and that "taking over" comment is HILARIOUS coming from a citizen of one of the most imperialistic countries in the history of the civilized world!
Stop complaining about everything, and just let us chill with our new World Cup boy. LOL
  • 4 7
they tried to change a bunch of words a while ago... but it didnt cant on very well, i believe "lite" is also correct for "light". but colour/color are both for sure right

flag spyk27 (Sep 2, 2011 at 21:27) (Below Threshold)
They should make 2 different versions
  • 21 8
@suicidedownhiller Believe it or not mate but some country's actually spell things differently than America and just because "Honor" is right to you doesn't mean it is to everyone else. Drop the American ego and realize that there are other country's in this world that do things differently.
  • 24 4
careful he might invade your country looking for WMD...

  • 32 2

wow, i want absolutely no part of this "meeting of the minds".....damn young whiper snapers.
  • 3 0
well the above is all hilarious i don't think they made the helmet just for Americans like p-2rider stated. as there are a lot of riders from other countries and they wouldn't sell as many.
  • 5 0
really ? its a word ffs grow up
  • 18 2
i hear that the colour of the word honour will be grey? Lets ensure that the grey will be like aluminium matt colour otherwise we imperialistic brits will just have to start an enquiry to your poor spelling! Bunch of arses....

or should that be?

WTF? How dare you simply say "the british" We had no part in it. P.s - Greatest empire EVER 1/4 of the world. 1/5 of the worlds population... hmmmm and you cant really claim your army is amazing - Your 13 TRILION in debt HA
  • 3 0
An empire isn't necessarily something for us to be proud of... it had its good aspects and but it came with a lot of bad ones too.
  • 4 0
so i guess spelling on a helmet makes it a good or a bad helmet. hmmm ill have to keep that in mind
  • 3 2
how we went from talking about Fox's new helmet to America's debt is beyond me.... lol .....i'll say it again, damn young whiper snapers!
  • 1 0
 Hah. Not worth it.
  • 5 0
Wow, that was a waste of 10mins reading all those replys...
  • 6 0
was anyone here alive when the British empire was in control NO! stop living in the past.its so pathetic how a conversation about spelling can become a battle of nationalities. you all make me laugh.
  • 3 0
 THANK YOU ^
  • 2 4
 America.
  • 3 2
maybe the british shouldnt have been so controling. then again i wouldnt be here if that had happened. all americans alive today, lets give a thanks to the U people. Smile
  • 2 0
...what do you mean, you people?!
(just a joke)
  • 6 0
I think its disrespectful to bring the military into this, especially when both countries are on the line right now and we're talking about a HELMET for fuck sakes on a BIKING site. Please inform yourself with how the WW's went down and Canada's part in them, just because you have a large number doesn't determine your strength. All in all we're supposed to be 'sister' countries...get over it, and don't bring shit like that into a topic about the spelling on a helmet. Astonishing what this chat has turned in to
  • 2 1
i was being serious too. im actually kinda thankful that the british pushed the people out cause if they didnt i wouldnt be here. and the U people was cause you guys put u's in a lot of your words like in colour.
  • 3 0
Just say 'UK' its an extra letter..
  • 1 0
Crap, 42 replies. I didn't expect to start a flame war. I was just wondering if it came as the rest of the world spelling too.
  • 6 0
If you are going slow enough for people to read your helmet get a new sport.
  • 3 0
@wesdadude : its the internet what did you expect? haha everyone needs to bitch and complain and troll a bit because they have nothing better to do with their lives
  • 3 0
And you always get the one dick who thinks he is better than everyone else here.
  • 2 0
Oh, you damn people. Quit bitching about things of such unimportance as spelling variations and go ride your f*cking bikes.

I have been impressed with fox gear. I would not consider moto style pyjama wear(I'm an old bastard and would look a cock) but the recent years attack jerseys are beautifully made and subtle looking...best bit of gear has been the first layer jerseys, I hope they keep making them....
  • 7 2
Who cares about the spelling. The Clothes are ugly. I don't mind the helmets
  • 2 0
seems the word honour or honor was derived from anglo-french 17th century, so either is correct as honour was adopted in england where as honor is favoured in america, whichever the helmet design looks pretty pants, i prefer the old design better.
  • 2 0
there was no correct spelling up en till around Shakespeare's time people just used to pell thing how they sounded. and event after that people would still do it because only the richest could school and education of a decent standard ( if i am correct )
  • 1 0
Wow I have to admit this was a truly hillarious read!! Lighten up and play nice kids, I really like the new urban Camo'"Have I spelt this right" Fox Flux helmet, They're all nice actually, Next helmet is one of those, They are an awesome piece of kit.  Looks like the Brits are a little up set that a Company from CALIFORNIA uses spelling that is correct to the U.S. dictionary. Cam Mcaul has def gave his touch to fox in the recent years nice to see.

  • 2 2
its too bad all of fox's knee pads etc suck so much, and haven't changed in years... sigh and they have so much money to do good things!
  • 8 1
I've been running Fox knee pads since 2001 and I've never had a problem with any of them, and they have changed a lot through the years... I can understand what you're getting at as they have had a few that weren't that great, and if those were the only ones you tried you might have a bad feeling about them. I've been using the Launch Pro's now for almost 2 years and they're awesome!
  • 3 4
i just switched from foxs launch ones to this brand like kali or something. so glad i did the fox ones were shit. felt uncomfortable and always slipped and didn't do shit when i crashed.
  • 3 2
My fox launch pads are the shit I have had them since 2004 and have taken f*cking licks and I race Downhill for 3 years with these shin/knee guards on top of training every day and they finally broke in a crash where I broke my finger in JULY. I'm buying new ones!
  • 2 0
budget knee pads, you gotta go 661, it just makes sense.. the helmets look slick, not keen on riding round advertising rockstar though, bit of a poser lid if you ask me, be sweet if they did another finish, like matt black or something..
  • 1 0
wtf? why do i get neg props when i just said what my old nee pads did and what new ones i brought? its not like I'm lying just stating the facts. some pink bikers can be real haters.
  • 3 0
Fox Launch knee/shin guards are the best in the business.... @Taane... don't worry, props don't matter, girls will still like you.
  • 2 0
 loving the B&W helmet !!
  • 2 1
how ugly is that plaid shirt with the black where the buttons go... would be ace if it was all plaid

  • 3 0
Not sure what Fox stuff you've bought? Everything Fox I've owned has been brilliant and lasted for a very long time - especially their apparel that I wear very often!
  • 1 0
bit of the opisit for me because i have manily had the apparel and its fallen apart within weeks! :/
  • 1 0
Must be bad luck! I was bought a Fox shirt for my 14th Birthday, I can remember as that's the sorta age when brands start mattering etc!! Was into big baggy clothes at the time so it still fits me now, 10 years later!! And it's lasted. The print has faded, but the tshirt itself is good to go!!
