FOX Racing Shox equipped riders won 3 of 4 events at the opening round World Cup of the Season in Vigo, Spain May 5 and 6th.

Marc Beaumont of Team MBUK/Santa Cruz survived an ugly crash in qualifying and came back to win his first ever World Cup.

Men’s 4X –
Dan Atherton had the best qualifying position, but it was his brother Gee Atherton Team Animal/Commencal who beat this world-class field to take the top position on the podium. World Cup 4X designer Phil Saxon created a work of art for the Vigo track. Riders described it as a real mountain bike course, not just a groomed super BMX track.

Anneke Beerten of Team Bike Park.CH grabbed her first World Cup win of the season.

Tracey Moseley continued her excellent form with a second place on her DHX 5.0 equipped Kona while FOX rider Emmeline Ragot raced to third with her FOX 40 RC2 and DHX 5.0.
