i don't why, when there's a girl bike contest/thing going on, there is a big deal, why can't just be treated like a normal event?

to try and advertise to the few female mtbers that there are events for them, and they are welcome in this testosterone fuelled sport.

My wife (an intermediate rider) did this camp last year (and is doing it again this year), and loved it (and the instructors!). She became tonnes more confident on her bike, picking new lines, and riding things with alot less hesitation. It was/is awesome to see!

Lorraine Blancher, Candace Webb, and Barb Haley are the coaches at this point. If more ladies show up, I'll scare up some more coaches. Johanna is very sorry she can't make it this year, but she's currently in Argentina and will only have made it as far as Mexico when the camp goes off. And yes, helmets are mandatory. I thought the anime girl was cute...

Anyone who signs up for this course is in for a treat. Legitimate freeride rippers ladies listed to coach. Fun, fast, knowledgable with some badass history behind them. This is something worth doing ladies!
