With much anticipation, the gates to the Goat Pen have been opened. On the morning of June 1st, at 11:00am, registration was launched and without hesitation riders were signing up. Every year for the past five years Goat Style has sold out, and with its new location at Silver Star Mountain Resort, even with more spots available, the event is expected to sell out again.

For five years straight, Goat Style Bike Festival has played host to riders demonstrating insane aerobatics on two wheels… and every year the course at Goat Style has not disappointed. This year, with more terrain, bigger features, bigger jumps and lots more going on at Goat Style 2011, the sky truly has just become the limit.

From start ‘til finish, Friday Night Lights, The Slope Style main event, The Camp of Champions Air Bag, the after party and even a downhill? Cash to win, prizing to get after, “dolla bills” in hand. There is no down time at Goat Style, so strap on your hats and get ready for an event at Silver Star Mountain Resort that’s going to knock your socks off.

Our new website is up, we’ve added more to the event: Camp of Champions Air Bag, Ryan Leech and his demo’s, more vendors, sponsors, and the ever anticipated “Friday Night Lights” has been ramped up… and then some. You can’t miss it! You need to be there. If you want to ride, register before all the spots fill up (all competitors can purchase a 3 day lift ticket for only $60). Goat Style is a member of the FMB world tour, winners of the Senior Open (pro) category will have a chance to nab points for the overall FMB Title.

• August 11 - Slopestyle practice and industry expo
• August 12 - Slopestyle qualifying, industry expo, Camp of Champions Jump bag and Friday night lights dirt jump best trick comp
• August 13 - Slopestyle finals – the main event, Ryan Leech trials show, Camp of Champions Jump bag, industry expo and after party in the Saloon!

It says there will be a downhill. I wonder which trail it will be on? I assume world cup.

Dags would work too, or a combo of the two.

Dags would be so sick but I think if they used Dag's or Downtown there would be some pretty nasty injuries.

Most DH tracks are much faster than anyone could go on dag's or downtown.
