 Good call on cancelling, i wouldn't have wanted to race in that, the rain etc is one thing, but riding in wind like that is horrible, let alone racing in it. Also huge props to the marshalls!

 tbf i prefer glencoe in the winter as you don't get eaten alive. the weather may be nasty but at least you can wear waterproofs... midges however, well they are unstoppable.
