Kurtis Knowles was pcitured last year kissing the track, here an unkown disciple pays homeage to Llangollen
Lets not be shy shall we, you gotta go big.
How hard was the Llangollen National Champs track? 42 riders went home between sign on, walking the course and a Saturday night. How hard was it? Well we put in rope access at the top for the spectators to help pull themselves up the course. The CRC team will be back there for some pre-race Champery World Cup training.
Adam Brayton ruled seeding and everyone thought the big battle was between him and local hero Alex Bond. In the end Peaty crashed out on the steepest hardest section of the course, the log drop at marshal point 3. Catching his back tyre on a root and getting tangled in the crash netting loosing him some five plus seconds. Ruaridh Cunningham took the big win and his first ever National Championships title infront of a 3,000 strong crowd.
