Hinton's Beaver Bike Fest 2013

Rain did the thing it does best and shut the door on the festival's plans in June. Fast forward to its rescheduled date of September 14, bike shredders young and old gathered at the Hinton Bike Park for a day of sick riding, good food, competition, and great company. From dirt jumps to snail races, there was something that every biker, regardless of age or skill, could enjoy. Everyone involved was also treated to temperatures far above seasonal, bluebird skies, and outstanding trail conditions. Everything fell into place for the bike fest this year and everyone had a blast! Of course none of it would have been possible without the amazing support of local business sponsors and all the great volunteers.

The festival was a fantastic way to wrap up a superb season of mountain biking in Hinton. With the addition of a brand new flow trail, and an awesome new pump track among other things; this season was one for the books. The town of Hinton is serious about biking, so if you like biking too why not stop by for a visit...
