We are in the desert, where it's sunny and the breeze is blowing - that actually translates to "it's windy as hell and the sun in drying out my skin faster than I can put on sun screen." But we love all the new bikes and parts, so we "suffer" through the elements for all y'all!

that session 88 was at the shop that i work at for a week, actually trek dropped off 4 of them along with about 25 of their other high end bikes. unfortunately the session 88's were the only ones out of the bunch that i couldn't ride.

TLD makes me puke in my mouth a little bit everytime I see it. WTF is up with Mountain biking copying FMX/MMA for the design aesthetic. They are the clowns of the action sports world, is it going to be red noses and suspenders next?
Mountain biking needs to get in gear with their design. look at bmx, skateboarding, or dare I say it, fixies. love or hate what they are wearing, at least they a relevant to this generation. mountain biking needs to get on board.

yeh tis a shame, they have some of the best shaped helmets out there, but the art work is god awful, they need to take a lesson out of POC's book when it comes to helmet aesthetics!

I got a chance to ride that 29er out here at the demo and I really liked the way I was able to just roll over everything I came across. I think that you will be seeing more and more 29 inch dh bikes soon

Yeti looks super stiff ideal for 4X, anyone got a rough idea of weight?

Also who does that young gun mitch ropelato ride for? I'm looking forward to next years world cup already.

Troy Lee needs to seriously take a long hard look at their visual brand. As a GFX designer, and a D2 owner, i really think they could do waaaaay better. Shame. Wish they still did the Plain Carbon like 2002.

That last helmet by TLD is a HUGE rip off of THE's love and hate helmet. It says love on one side, hate on the other, with differnt colors for each side. That's kinda messed up. They're overpriced enough that you would think they could afford some original graphic designers

Did you look at the T.H.E helmet design it vaguely resembles the D2. I am sure they did this because the D2 is such a big seller and an amazing design. Did you ever think that maybe troy lee liked the love hate design from T.H.E or that it sold very well so they decided to do there own version of it. My point is that i highly doubt troy lee did this to hurt T.H.E's sales or piss them off.

the new 29er looks pretty sick. i get the concept of how a 29er for dh would be better, cant wait to see the reviews for the new frames coming out. wont be surprised if they start to catch on

As far as i know T.H.E. and Troy lee designs are both owned by the same company, and basically fit the same, also the point of doing the same graphic would be for someone who is a brand whore but like the design on the T.H.E. which would lead to more sales for the overall company by which both of them are owned
