Jamie Biluk and I have been friends since we started racing downhill in juniors. Racing and riding has been our lives ever since. There are few riders in BC that have remained as dedicated to racing as Jamie. Jamie had big plans for 2011 after a strong 2010 season, but an early season wrist injury would prove to be a major setback, missing most of the race season. Instead of hitting the beach all summer we decided to make a “Biluk Edit”. This was my first summer of shooting and was a great opportunity for us to work together showcasing our talents.

We wanted to show everyone what it takes to be a racer, and most importantly awesome riding. So grab yourself a beer (or other preferred beverage), sit back and enjoy.

im 15 and I take my racing vary seriously, to be fast you really have to work your ass off, and all my friends dis on me cause im going on XC and road rides when they get to go shuddle to local trails, but i geuss alot of people dont understand

They may not get what you're doing but don't let it get you down because when you do hit the trails with them, you'll leave them in the dust. There's only so much you can gain from straight shuttle rides... at the end of the day only your true friends will respect and encourage what you're doing.

Awesome video! Goes to show that riding bikes is riding bikes. Doesn't matter what kinda riding discipline you're in, whether it's road biking, trail riding, or downhill.

this guy def shows how much hard work and determination it takes to go the distance I ride alot of xc and ride 50 miles in the morning and go to the gym and then go ride my DH bike till it gets dark I don't have much of a social life but i love what I'm doing and wouldn't give it up for anything

Prolly they have hardworking lads willing to work thru the trails like coastal dudes. some people prefer to buy a bike and wait for trails.

that vid was AWESOME! it completely eclipsed the scene from follow me with hill and vanderham riding the shore, not enough praise for this vid just wondering now if he'll take the reigns from andrew mitchell

Hello finnrambo, I am writing to you simply for friendly debate. Your opinion is certainly respected as this video moved you in a certain way however, I do strongly feel you saying "completely eclipsed... 'follow me' ... hill and vanderham" (sic.) is a gross exaggeration. Do you really feel this above video surpasses the aforementioned segment? I do not. In "Follow Me" the color and saturation while not forgetting the riding over the wet roots is forever burned in my mind.

This segment does inspire me more then follow me because it shows what it takes to be a downhiller. Hill and Vanderham looked like they weren't doing any hard training and just rode like that all day. What I like most is how it shows we work just as hard as roadies and XCers I should know being a former road and track racer. Follow me had better filming while this one had a story behind it, that is why I like this video more than Follow Me. Even though I really like the videos commencal has on their site.
My favorite scene from follow me was the bike parks topped with fairclough and vanderham(I think) riding to the soundtrack of rise against.
