Is "moar" a trendy new way to spell "more"? This is an honest question, because I really don't know. I've seen it spelled that way so many times on Pinkbike that I don't know if I'm too old to know these "trends" or if people honestly don't know how to spell.
Yes, it is slang for a stronger/demanding version of "more". My generation isn't that horrible at spelling, haha. For future reference regarding trendy words and slang, refer to Urban Dictionary: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=moar
And that video was sick, I liked the song. I'm surprised metal isn't more common in DH/FR vids.
finally. going with some old school FR style music. I do like listening to indie/dub/reggae style stuff in edits cuz it looks so smoothe with it, but it's good to get some metal back in the scene. this would have been sick with Miss May I or we came as romans or some sort of metalcore. Dope vid.
Ahh,most of you noobs are still wet behind the ears...riding was so sick,so fast..music perfectly matched the rider..that triple was completely nutbar! I want to see more from this rider!
It is funny how the metal songs on videos here get called out so much. Every other video on this site has the WHACKEST techno/elctro/whatever garbage. Yeah we know it is easy to edit to, but it still is horrendous to listen to. Does anyone actually like to listen to that music when they aren't at a club drunk or high?
It's funny how metal songs or songs that aren't techno/dub/electro get torn apart on this site. Yeah we get it, those whack songs are great for editing, too bad they suck to listen to and are even worse to ride to. Does anyone even like to listen to that music when they aren't effed up at the club?
I just watched this 3 times. Love it! I dig the metal, a nice change from all the hipster mixed bs that is in every movie.
I like hipster mixed bs as well. lol
Any idea on the brand of knee braces...? I'm interested as I sit here with a fractured patella from a nasty rock garden fall. Broke it through my Kyle Straits and wouldn't mind something like what he's got.
If you can afford it, go for the custom kneebraces. Unmatched fit and performance. But if you can't, I'd say POD's, like the one's Kenny wears, are your best bet.
Alltough I like his riding style and also listen to metal, this song was such a shit like I not often heard before. Come on Kenny - don't take such shitmetal for your vids, it reminds me to the new metal wave.
can any one tell me why kenny is running an air rear shock? i would of thought a coil would have been better cause its got more travel and they are better in my own opinion.
i really think this kind of music just sounds like a composition of people vomiting to toneless music :/ really dont like it, video on the other hand was awesome. hellishly fast
Gimpie7, I really don't get what's wrong with expressing opinion that doesn't favor a video or pic. Personally, I did like video a lot but I am not going to say anyone to stay quite because they don't share my feelings Cheers
Totally agree. I find metal in bike movies so annoying. Its like, "Grrrrr, I'm rebelling riding bikes and doing what they told me not too".....Grow up. Try watching the video again with the sound muted and put this on in the background. www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Z2uu3AwDkU It instantly makes the video look so much more proffesional and I bet you could find so many songs so easily that do the same. but meh, that's just me.
To each his own. You don't like metal, and I don't like your music. Who cares? Everyone has their own taste in music, and saying yours is better than everyone else is just ignorant.
I like a lot of different music including metal but the vid could of at least chosen a metal song which fitted better with the editing? Sweet riding though Kenny's badass!
I disagree, I listen to plenty different types of music and you could consider me a music snob but I really enjoy the use of editing and music in Kenny Smiths videos. It shows how intense a rider he is and how balls out he goes at stuff. It makes everything seem so much faster and there isn't much slow mo either which emphasises that. Whenever I ride my BMX I listen to dub, reggae, hip hop etc because it is chill but when I ride downhill I much prefer more intense, full on music to get me pumped i.e metal like Rage Against the Machine. Each to his own tho.
i thought that was soo shit , music was soo wrong and the all the guy proved he could do that was better than other people was over clear the fuck out of a jump , not exactly skillful

Sorry for the link, but if you haven't seen it it's something. If the link breaks, I've seen the photo in BIKE magazine sometime in 2010.
And that video was sick, I liked the song. I'm surprised metal isn't more common in DH/FR vids.
bring back good music taste!
Sweet riding though Kenny's badass!
