We were lucky enough to be invited to a house in London where Matt Wakefield and team had been commissioned to design and build an all-level mountain bike trail for one very lucky family. Matt gave us exclusive access to the trail that was crafted along the side of the garden, past the swimming pool, dropping into the trees with a mini-rock garden, followed by berm after berm until two big tables to get your tricks and style dialled. At the bottom of the garden, a pump track awaits the rider and it is crafted to perfection. With the weather closing in and light disappearing, we quickly got our 7D out and filmed a short video in under twenty minutes. No tripod, just a 14mm lens. Access to the garden's CCTV cameras was an obvious bonus.

Depends where you are in London... A house with no garden and no pool in the right place could cost 4 times what that house did, it could be in outer London in a less afluent area... London is very general. Saying that they are not poor, and if they are paying someone else to build their pump track... It's probably one of those crazy rich people

Imagine the track that Buckingham Palace could have in the back garden. Come on Your Majesty, you know you want to.

have access to the UK's bike parks and trail networks by being at the centre of the UK's rail network - all the large London train stations are within 15 minutes ride from my house!

its not a "cheap" place to live, but its probably the raddest city in the World to live in at the moment. many people coming to live here because its definitely an exciting place to live

Once its "grown in" with plants and grass etc it will look amazing! At the moment it looks like a builders yard. New video when its finished I think.

We've seeded the surrounding area with a lot of wild flowers to keep it hidden, a couple of weeks of having a dump truck and a digger tearing around the place certainly left its mark. Hoping that when the weather dries out a bit (if it ever does) it'll look a lot better and we'll have some good summer sessions with the barbeque going. Smile
