Mathieu Laurin is Back with Marin bikes

Jan 17, 2007
by Tyler Maine
Mathieu has raced for Marin in his junior days, his junior national title had been captured in 2000 riding the Marin Team DH the ancestor of the Quake XLT. From there Mathieu went on to pursue a very successful racing career which is not over yet!Besides racing the 2007 Canada Cup for Marin, Mathieu will be working under Andre Lecompte as a sub rep for Quebec (Canada) and also to help develop new talents within the Marin mountain bike team. Designing bike parks will be another one of his multiple duties in his new job. Marin sponsors Bike Parks like Mont Blanc (Quebec) which Mathieu helped to design and build.

We are very proud to have Mathieu on board with Marin to join mountain bike advocates and racers Shaums March (2006 DH Master World Champion) and Mike Jones.

You will have the chance to meet and ride with them, reunited only once early next summer for a week of Mad March Racing Camp in Quebec, look at these website for dates to come.

I love my Marin team DH, but I always thought the customer service was no good.

Well Shaums and Mike have been killing it all season on these bikes, so it shows they are on the right track. Looking forward to seeing more about the Quakes this season.
