We can't believe it's racing season!
I would be lying if I told you that this off season wasn't busy. We have worked hard to develop new relationships, build team camaraderie and gain higher expectations. We have new sponsors, race schedules and athletes which are the key ingredients for what should be an EPIC summer of racing!
Alex McAndrew, one of the hardest working kids I have ever known. At 24 years of age, Alex has graduated with an engineering degree from Clarkson University, interned with Fox and trained in New Zealand and California, all to enhance his knowledge and ability to be on and around bikes. This year Alex will be racing in the Pro category along side team mate, Isaac Allaire.
Isaac Allaire, showing off his brand new Alloy Covert.
This kid had one heck of a season last year. Competing as a Jr. X, Isaac was one of the most winning Jr's in the country. Taking the overall title in both the Gravity East Series and the Eastern States Cup. This year Isaac has moved up the ranks and will join the big boys in the Pro category. We hope to see amazing things from Isaac this season!
The newest addition to the team is 15 year old Ben Bodycoat.
The idea of adding a young athlete was always in the back of my mind. After having the opportunity to film the entire Gravity East Series last year, I was able to watch all different types of talent on the mountain and back in the editing room. Ben's riding ability stuck out and I knew that this 15 year old phenom will be someone to watch out for. Doesn't hurt that his dad, George Bodycoat, is one of the raddest people on earth and is a huge help to the teams' success.
This year we have developed new relationships with new companies. We are proud to announce that we will be racing for Transition Bikes, Spank Industries, Fox, Troy Lee Designs, MRP, Wicked Wash, Marsh Guard and Chucks bikes. The support that these companies have provided to us just goes to show that hard work pays off.
Thanks to Transition, our boys will be racing on the Downhill course with the all new TR500. The bike is sure to keep our boys pinned on any course. On the Enduro course, our boys will be charging on the brand new Carbon and Alloy Coverts. This past week at the Sea Otter Classic, we had the chance to fully test out all of our new gear and we cant say enough about everything.
Spank Industries has some of the best products on the market. The bars, stems and wheels all make the bikes feel sturdy and fast. Confidence is key.
Troy Lee Designs makes the best racing product on the market. It keeps our boys looking fresh on and off the track and these new kits definitely separate us from the rest.
Who can say enough about Fox? The product is tested and proven by the best and it gives our boys confidence to push their limits and ride to their fullest potential.
MRP has developed some amazing product and this years product is no acceptation. The new G3 and AMg help keep our chain in line and keeps the bike super quite.
Wicked Wash is an awesome company. The product keeps our bikes looking clean and fresh. It doesn't hurt when they keep us looking fresh off the bike either.
Huge thanks to those who have helped us get to where we are today your support is truly appreciated:
