How To Fix A Snapped Bike Chain - Trail Doctor: Everyone at some point in their riding experience will snap a chain, probably on a steep climb, and they'll probably land square on their face in the dirt, much like mountain bike maniac Dan Milner here. But don't worry. Just pick yourself up and get on with fixing it. Not sure how? Well you're in luck! Just watch this 'how to' and you'll be back in the saddle in no time. In under 2.5 minutes ex-bike shop mechanic and magazine bike tester Dan Milner will show you all the secrets of fixing your snapped chain, and fixing it well. 'Thanks, Trail Doctor!'
The Lyttelton DH 2014: The normally peaceful Port town of Lyttelton, New Zealand changes to a place of high speed chaos when mountain bikers invade the streets once a year for the Lyttelton Urban Downhill. Racers push their limits down the 1.3km course over driveways, through backyards, off garage roofs, through a house, down stair ways, on to shipping containers and even over parked trucks. This 600m descent pushes even the best riders out of their comfort zone. For the second year running Cam Cole outpaces Wyn Masters by only seconds to be crowned the fastest of 2014.

PROVING GROUNDS: BIKE TRANSALP 2014: The Transalp is a test of man and machine, spread over 7 days, with 600km and 19,000 vertical meters and 1,200 mountain bike riders it was the perfect proving ground. We had the bike but we needed a rider. Stefan ‘Fish’ Vis, had been giving input to Olaf and us in the development of the Hook, and as a rider always hungry for a new adventure and never one to shy away from challenging the conventions he was ‘the’ man for this challenge.
Kona Staff Ride - Bellingham, Washington: Ahh, the glorious Pacific Northwest. Our home. These are the lands from which Kona sprang. And it's what continues to inspire the design for all of our bikes. The undulating, loamy, neverending singletrack of this most hallowed place. The seaside highways and logging roads that venture deep into forest and mountains, at Kona we ride them all. As much as we can. It's all right outside our Kona USA headquarters in northwestern Washington. So of course, we posse up--whether it be the weekend or the afternoon, the early morning or holiday--and we go. After all, it's our job. And at Kona, we really love our jobs.

Rodney Mullen - A Beautiful Mind: Rodney Mullen has seen it all. Besides inventing the entire platform of street skating as we know it, he's lived through and witnessed every iteration thereof—from his days as a freestyle champ in the '80s to modern day technical wizardry. And while he knows how to manipulate a plank of wood better than any other living being on the planet, he's also got the uncanny ability to articulate what it means to be a skateboarder better than anyone else. We sat him down for a quick chat, and got his take on the essence of skateboarding for our own private TED Talk. Rodney, we love you. You truly are something special. Congratulations on 10 years of Almost!
