HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA — December 7, 2005 - Nema today announced the opening of its first mountain bike apparel retail showroom. The new store, based in Huntington Beach, California, showcases its current product and theme that have evolved into the 2006 collection.
Focused on manufacturing ride wear for the discerning mountain bike rider, Nema’s apparel collection will not be found in the Wal-Marts of the cycling world. “If you’re looking for a one-stop shop to preview and purchase Nema’s entire collection and get personalized service you won’t receive anywhere else, our new showroom is your only destination,” said Coleen Nobleman, Nema’s new director of retail operations. “While we can’t promise you’ll ride faster, we can promise you’ll look better!”

Located in North Orange County, the showroom is located just minutes from the 405 freeway and centrally located between REI, Performance and Jax Bicycles locations. “Our goal to give mountain bikers in Long Beach and North Orange County real options when it comes to buying for the holidays,” Nobleman continues. “Not finding our apparel in the big box stores gives us the ability to pump up, not dumb down, or product.”

NEMA invites members of the local cycling community to support the efforts of Trips for Kids by cleaning out their closets and donating unused clothing directly to them. More info at www.tripsforkids.org

The flagship location will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday thru Saturday to allow ample opportunity for the busy holiday shopper the stop by. Nema’s retail showroom can be found at 16651 Gothard St, Suite E, Huntington Beach, CA 92647.

Future locations for NEMA retail showrooms currently being scouted include Boulder, CO, Morgan Hill, CA, Madison, WI, and Chapel Hill, NC.

About NEMA
Ten years ago we set out on a mission - create a technical mountain bike short. After several hundred hours behind the sewing machine, we crafted the first riding system - a system that bridged the inner liner to a durable nylon shell. In the years since, we've continued to define the mountain bike apparel category, all the while staying true to our original goal... the product.

NEMA. Fit for a King.
