Is there any trail riding near Rome? I'm studying there next fall and haven't been able to find too much information on the riding situation.

I am from Rome and I really don't know where that bridge and the lake are... the footing and few other scenes could have been taken in one of the parks (may be Villa Borghese or Villa Ada).

If you are going to study in Rome, closest trails are in Monti della Tolfa / Bracciano (Enduro, not AM). Otherwise there are several itineraries that you may find here www.paolaegino.it
