Quality finishing from Cube, with detail like this you should be getting excited.

Cubes Triple Linkage Geometry - Some might say a nice little catcher for all that mud and grime. We know Cube uses quality bearings, but only a long term test will tell.

Fox DHX RC 4 Factory Kashima rear shock.

Apparently the all new 661 d30 Evo knee pad will be a few clams cheaper than the old one. The Evo is an all new design for 661 - in comparison to the Kyle Straits, the d3o insert and the pad itself feature a cup shape, vs the old flat wrap design. The intent here is for a more fitted knee pad that stays in place. The front impact zone now uses the same re-enforced material as seen on the 661 Padlock knee.

The back of the 661 d3O Evo - note the new larger venting followed by the omission of the rear strap.

Pinkbike.com
d3O insert in the raw, with a shiny black silicone coating fresh out of the new 661 Evo knee pads.

Pinkbike.com
661 Rage knee pads, formerly known as Kyle Straits. A new revised colour way and name change for the world's most popular knee pad from 661.

For all you hairdressers out there that insist on matching collars and cuffs, here are the matching Rage elbow pads. Super comfortable with plenty of protection, and enough straps to keep her in place. Winner!

Continental Mud Kings in dual ply 2.3" are here. Winter is fast approaching and it's time to put those Barons and Kaisers away. We all know that the Athertons ran Wetscreams with a blacked out Maxxis logo when it got wet, now they and you can throw away that black marker.

Pinkbike.com
Bigger and thicker ramped knobs from Continental means predictable cornering and more stable on the straight sections. Will we see racers cutting them down - only time will tell.

I'm a great fan of 24" BMX Cruisers. You can get an awesome bike like this brand new GT Speed Series. For about the same cost as a entry level jump bike you can still have some serious fun., whether you're down at the BMX track, the dirt jumps, the skate park use or just a paper round.

Eurobike 2011
Gary Turner would be proud to have his initials surrounded by these wings.

Eurobike 2011
GT's Internal seat clamping system.

Eurobike 2011
Gold ano horizontal dropouts on the downside of the chain stay. I first saw this frame at Perry Barr BMX track in Birmingham this Summer at the Euros, where it won every moto and race piloted by the Frenchman Joris Daudet.

Eurobike 2011
I have no idea what you would call this "bike" that was displayed at the mega flash Specialized booth, can you help me out and play, "How many MTB components can you recognize"?

Early Rider are a UK based company that produce these wooden "Boot Scoot" style bikes. Available in a few sizes to get your little one riding without the use of stabilizers. Nice neat trick is the adjustable steering, a quick minute spent adjusting the fork setting reduces the amount of steering available for little Polly's first steps at riding a proper bike.

Now check this prototype out from Early Rider, I nick named her the ladybird. Think Dyson hoover or a ball barrow. No wheels just two spheres that are made even more stable with two small office chair casters bolted to the mid section. Polly could spin around the kitchen on this from the age of 12 months onwards I'm guessing.

Available in February 2012 we will have Polly "The Rocket" Paton drifting around the Paton household in no time.

Stay tuned for more from Eurobike 2011

As soon as i opened the page my jaw dropped to the floor followed by one of the biggest smiles ive had on all year. I WANT THAT CUBE!!!!

Edit: Where can i buy one if i live in the US?
  • 1 1
Implying that the Cube is a carbon frame? Because I’ve never seen anyone weld carbon before.....or are you suggesting a carbon version should be made available?
  • 2 1
stating that the cube is "ripe" for carbon, as in 'ripe for the picking'. So yea, the layout lends itself well to a carbon version it seems.
  • 2 1
Ah ok, my mistake then buddy! I’d also like to see cube bring it out in a carbon version! It seems like carbon is the future of high end performance mountain bikes now.
  • 2 1
ChainReactionCycle.com sells Cube products, but don't know if that model is available there yet. LOL

Whats up with that dirtbike.....? its made from mtb components... Weird
  • 2 0
If you look at the suspension it appears to be an early Demo 9 or 8 rear end.
  • 1 0
Suspension is deffinatly from demo, upper swing arm and link may be from older demo but lower part is deffinatly custom!
  • 1 1
nice long spindle on those cranks Razz
even worse than Giants 100mm BBs
  • 1 1
its got a fox 40 fork and an FSR rear end

661 rage pads- AVOID! absolute ****. massive let down after the Strait pads. don't stay put, pad is a horrible shape and left me with a hole in my leg (because the stupid hard shell hooks up with stuff- yes one industries- a square is a great shape). cost twice as much too. gutted.
  • 4 1
Really liking the Rage pads, especially the elbows.
  • 5 3
cubes nice wtf is with the dirt bike and why does the bmx have mtb cranks n sprocket ?
  • 1 1
the dirt bike has 40's and all mtb parts on it, and the bmx looks more like a 4x than a bmx bike..
  • 4 1
It's a 24" BMX Cruiser, they are more like a BMX race frame on 24" wheels and lot's of BMX race bikes have MTB style cranks with spyders.
  • 1 1
i second the notion, wtf is with the dirtbike?
  • 1 1
 I think it's a modified Shuttle Buddy
  • 2 1
The "Dirtbike" is Specialized just toying around. Every year they do something different. I can't believe all these ignorant comments about the damn thing. They're a huge company, pretty sure that was inexpensive for them and it looks cool.
  • 1 0
 Agreed.
  • 1 1
@hendu the frames wierd thoguh it doesnt really have bmx frame geometry it almost has more a 4x looking frame
  • 1 1
Yea I guess but still very reminiscent of bmx race.
  • 2 1
That cube is probably the nicest looking DH bike I've seen all year. If they sell those at a reasonable-ish price with that level of build they'll be super popular.
  • 4 1
no Engine should be allowed in a bike Show.
  • 1 1
A mtb based dirt bike! Great concept or lawsuit, cant tell which one yet. All i know is ive been killing everything in sight with mine for the last two years!
